For the rank you’ve secured you have only few chances to get admission at Osmania University. As the first preference is given only to the GATE and GPAT rankers at the time of seat allotment and even the seat alloted at OU for M.Tech are only 30 for each stream. So, If you compare with these parameters you have very less chances to get Admission at OU. Anyways you can try other M.Tech colleges such as CMR, Mallareddy, Vidya Jyothi Institute Of Technology, Anurag Group Of Institutions to get Admission. It may be a little difficult to get into OU or JNTU Hyderabad but you can definitely get Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology as their closing rank lies somewhere near 14500 and Vasavi college of Engineering as their closing rank lies somewhere near 14600. But you can definitely wait for the subsequent rounds of counseling so you can get the best possible college for your rank.

I regret to inform you that you may not get seat in Osmania university neither in JNTUH in civil engineering.Based on 2018 cut off trends the cut off rank for SC category boy is 8187 in osmania university and 9682 in JNTUH.However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.So hope for the best.

With 457 rank , your chances are negligible to get a good branch like ECE in the OU or JNTUH  campus. With this rank , you can expect a seat in ons of the low ranked colleges affiliated to OU . As for getting a seat in ECE branch in OU or JNTUH campus , your eank musy be below 70. And your rank is much more than that.

But don't worry ,  participate in the counselling process and hope for the best .

as you are non local candidate you will be given very less opportunity to get into osmania university

there are around 160 seats available for the non local students.so in case you wanna get with osmania university you have to go with management seats or other affiliated colleges.

as per the jntu norms if the students want to get into the campus then the student have to qualify the entrance exam with top score in case of eamcet its ranking must be below 17k and ecet the ranking must be under 3k.

in this case you are elligible to get the good stream.

Hello Nitin, you have got good rank in TSPGECET congtrats for that, But with this rank it is hard to get seat in OU and JNTU-H is very hard. By considering previous year cutoff ranks your rank out of range, But you can get seat in top colleges and other universities. So, in counselling first give priority to universities and after top colleges wise. All the Best.
