I would like to tell you that in order to get CSE branch in Osmania University, then you need to get at least 100 - 120 marks out of 160 in TS EAMCET examination. If you are focusing on just getting a seat then 60+ marks will be enough for you to secure a seat in Osmania University,But for good branch you should score more. If we see Rankwise then 10k rank will he enough for a seat,But for good branch you should score under 3-4k rank.

Looking at the previous year Cutoff, TO get CSE branch in Osmani, you need to get within 4K rank in TSEAMCET.

So, with regard to your query, generally after getting the result of GATE entrance exam, and after releasing of the score card, admissions will start for the Osmania University. So, in this regard the score card of GATE 2022 will be released on 22 March 2022. So, the admissions might start from May to July 2022.

In my opinion you should go for JNTU H.

JNTUH is far better than OU, The institute offers UG & PG courses to the students. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad is maintaining a good placement record every year . So, basically the placements are pretty good in this college since it comes under the government. Almost many top-notch companies visit the college (i.e.., nearly 70-80) every year to offer placements for the students. Wherever you go, the placement statistics will be in the top for branches such as IT, CSE, etc.., The lowest packages will be around 3 lakh per annum and the highest package ranges around 14 lakh per annum. The companies like Tibco, Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys and many more companies visit this college during placements at the end of the respective courses.
