m. tech course is very much conception oriented and research in many technologies studies is involved rather than b.tech , so you may find little difficult to prepare for competitive exams like gate or IES,  however if you want to prepare for banking related or any other government  service

as you will give exam for diploma section, you will get question from PCM and engineering stream. Question pattern is :-

1. Maths:- 50
2. Physics:- 25
3. Chemistry:- 25
4. Engineering paper:- 100

each question contains 1 mark.  You have to score above 80% so that you will get a good rank

In Placements all the 3 institutes have almost equal past records , but JNTUH as per previous years statistics , have a good track record compared to other colleges. But in ranking OSMANIA is good.
