Chances are there for you to take an admission. The cutoff list in not given by the official source so it is difficult for me to say. You hav qualified the exam that will be enough to get an admission. You should apply for the University and get an admission. It will be very helpful if you have any home state quota or any other reservation to make the process easier.
Hope it helps!

Hello aspirant. Both the Universities are better in their own way. But compared to Osmania University, JNTU Hyderabad is better in all the aspects. The university good infrastructure and facilities. The university provides peaceful and pleasant environment to study. The faculty here are well experienced. The placement cell is good in the college. Better go with JNTU Hyderabad for bright future.
Hello,
You have such a good qualification. You will surely get JNTU or OU. As per your rank you will get an admission for sure. You can check the official website of JNTU or OU.
Here is the link stating all the details:- https://www.andhracolleges.com/colleges/college-profile.aspx?clgid=MT046
You have high chances at JNTU and also a good college for studies. So prefer JNTU.
Hope it helps!
Hi there Fathima! Hope you're having a great day.
First of all I would like know when are your tentative dates of the results of your backlog subjects because it can cause a hurdle to your admission process in post graduate colleges. However, as per my suggestion you should apply for PGECET and let your backlog paper rest for a few days since PGCET counseliing will take longer than usual. Don't worry and do your best.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
Hello Rajnath,Both the colleges are perfect, all the students reading and learning over here are the top notch rankers of the entrance exam.
Teaching, faculties and curriculum is best and equivalent to each other in both the colleges.
Hostels are though not soo good, bathrooms and foods are quite bad.
There is a bit of ragging in both the colleges so be prepared.
Alumni network is quite good in OU,JNTU also have but a bit less but both are good.
Now prefer that college which is nearby to your home and as per my views i would give a bit of plus point to jntu as i have heard that there are few riots in OU.(ALTHOUGH I DON'T KNOW 100% I HAVE LISTENED).
Also try to search for few private colleges as there are few private colleges too which are good.
Hope this helps you
All the best for your future
Dear Aspirant
The general area where Osmania University is located, is called Tarnaka. 'Arts College' (University College of Arts and Social Sciences) is the best known landmark on the university campus.
Osmania University campus is about 8-10 kms from the two major inter-city and inter-state bus stations - Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS, Hyderabad; earlier known as Imlibun bus stand) and Jubilee Bus Station (JBS, Secunderabad).
The campus is about 8-10 kms also from both Secunderabad and Hyderabad Railway Stations.
From either of the railway stations, and from the bus stations, it should cost Rs 40-50 by a three-wheeler (auto-rickshaw or auto, as it is called in Hyderabad). The autos are metered, take a maximum of three passengers and are fairly reliable. There are police-manned auto-rickshaw stands at both the railway stations.
OU is about 40 kms from the airport (the new Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad).
Good luck for your future :)
Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
Hey Suveer! Main difference between the main campus of the university and other colleges affiliated to the university is placements, the main campus provides good placements as compared to other affiliated colleges. Rest things are all same but the placement factor is the major one. Hope this may help you.
College is good in terms of infrastructure but it needs to be maintained well and keep up the standards and the trees are not well maintained and they need to focus on basic amenities for phd students and they have to make sure the trees grow well
The college offers a technologically advanced campus with smart classrooms and well-equipped labs. The library is extensive, though more digital resources would be helpful. The sports facilities are excellent.
College was a good one at that time as there are minimal good facilities are there with the better classrooms , labs , sports ground and canteens as there were no hostel facility at my time and all things were well maintained too with good hygienic food was available.
