Dear Aspirant

I hope you are doing good . With reference to your query,  I would glad to tell you tha for research persuing bsc+msc course from VIT university would be a much better option. The vit university holds 28th rank in NIRF which is much high than sathyabama . Moreover , very high quality teaching is given in vit  with the help of latest technology . Specially labs of biotech department are very good having all the latest equipment . Infact bsc+msc is very research oriented course as compared to btech which is very job oriented

Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future

hi,

since you have future plan to go for research and higher study I would recommend to go for b.sc+ m.sc course in biotechnology. biotechnology is an interdisciplinary stream and past 1 year it has major role in research about vaccines, making drugs , selecting virus and bacteria's. In future the profession would earn a surge of demand in health science related Industry. however b.tech course is more technical oriented and do phd after b.tech you have to do m.tech, which would take 2 years. so it is best to go for bsc + msc course in biotechnology and after that you may apply for ms course in abroad.

Dear aspirant,

Their is good scope for Biotechnology in India and abroad. This course is in demand now-a-days. B. Tech Biotechnology in Sathyabama University is a good choice. Yes, you can do MS in abroad after completion of B.Tech Biotechnology from Sathyabama University. So no need to worry. You should complete your Undergraduation from any stream from recognised College to get MS seat in abroad.

All The Best!!

Dear aspirant,

Among the options mentioned by you it is better to choose B.Sc + M.Sc Biotechnology Integrated Course from Vellore Institute of Technology as you are interested in doing research work. After completing this integrated course you can pursue Ph.D for further reasearch. You can complete B.Sc and M.Sc at one place from same college. There will be good career opportunities for students in this field. Now it's your choice to take the decision.

Hope this helps.

All The Best!!

Hi,

B.Tech Biotechnology has a lot of potential and is a field which is an important aspect of several industries like agriculture, medicine etc.

Here are some fields, that you can consider:

  • B.Tech in Biotechnology graduates can have careers in the agricultural, chemical, textile, manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors .

  • You can also opt for professional jobs such like teaching jobs in schools and colleges.

  • For B.Tech in Biotechnology candidates, there are ample jobs in the research field .

Here is a link that you can refer for more details regarding this course: https://www.careers360.com/courses/b-tech-in-biotechnology

I hope this helped you.

I would say try securing B.Tech in Biotechnology from VIT as your first preference, followed by B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Manipal University. Manipal and VIT are two of the best private institutions having strong faculty, infrastructure and research facilities. Incase you arent able to make into one of them try securing B.Tech in Biotechnology from SRMIST or B.Sc. in Biotech from Amritaa.

Dear aspirant,

B.Tech Biotechnology from Sathyabama University is better than B.Sc Biotechnology from Manipal University. B.Tech Biotechnology is for 4 years where as B.Sc Biotechnology is for 3 years. Careers for B.Tech Course is better than B.Sc Biotechnology. If you join in B.Sc Biotechnology then getting a good job is not that easy so you have to do Masters it takes 2 more years. So Overall B.Tech Biotechnology from Sathyabama University is better.

Hope this information helped you.

Best of Luck!!

Dear aspirant,

I think the bsc biotechnology will be a better option to choose as per my view because the BTech in biotechnology has value only if done from specific good colleges otherwise biotechnology in india has no scope. In amrita university it does has good research outlook.
