As your number is 83 in he waiting list for Tezpur University counselling, so please wait for the final counseling as you might get seat in ECE department. For CSE and EEE, you have less chances as these seats are in high demand.

Also, you can easily get seat into food technology engineering at Tezpur University.

Please note that 60% of seats are reserved for permanent resident of North East states. So the competition becomes quite high.

Tezpur university is considered a good university for energy technology.

The placements here are decent. The recruiting companies are accenture, airtel,cap gemini, oracle, nokia, ONGC, NTPC, Phillips, Microsoft,  NDTV, infosys, huawei, IBM, coca cola, colgate, DRDO, glaxo, siemens, TCS etc. The median salary is 3.6 lakhs per annum( as per the recent reports).

Hi,

In Tezpur University, 60% of total seats are reserved for candidates from North-eastern states. If you are from these states, you are required to submit Permanent Residence Certificate stating so. However home state quota is only from the candidates belonging to assam only. These both are different as you can see.
