There are currently three courses offered as part of integrated Mtech program which includes CSE in collaboration with Virtusa, software Engineering and CSE with specialization in Data science. Since you have a excellent rank and most of the candidates above you will be splited into three courses/ some will move to Chennai campus as well there is a high probability that a seat in category 1 for Software Engineering will be available for you.

It can't be guaranteed though as there are many tie ups at various ranks, but you will surely get it by second category.

Congratulations on getting such a wonderful rank by your performance in higher secondary examinations. See the fee category you will get depends upon the course you opt for. For example if you want to get a seat in core CSE your fee category will be 2. Similarly if you prefer some specializations your chances of getting lower fee category become better.

For example with the mentioned rank you will get CSE with specialization in Data science in category 2 at Vellore but at the same time you can get cse with specialization in business analytics in category 1 at Chennai.

Congratulations on securing such a wonderful rank. Currently there are three courses offered at Vellore campus as a part of integrated Mtech program which are:

• Integrated M.Tech. (Software Engineering)(5 Years)
• Integrated M.Tech. CSE in collaboration with Virtusa (5 Years)
• Integrated M.Tech. CSE with specialization in Data Science (5 Years)

There are around 1000 seats combined for all these so there is a high chance that you may find yourself a seat in the institution. With the mentioned rank the probability of getting a seat in first category is less but you will definitely make it by second category.

Though you have a descent rank, It would be very difficult for you to find a seat at main campus of Vellore institute of technology in integrated Mtech program. Integrated Software Engineering, CSE with specialization in Data science and CSE has around 1200 seats combined. If you are lucky and the students ranked above you prefer Chennai campus for the courses offered there, then you might make it to integrated Mtech program (CSE with specialization in Data science) in second category.

As per the percentile your ranking should be between 317130 to 356500. Since you have not mentioned I am assuming you to be from general category. According to your percentile and previous year statistics you have negligible chance of getting Vit Vellore, but never to loose hope. Since you are native of Karnataka you can attempt the Comedk Uget examination and try for the below mentioned colleges:

• Christ university, Bangalore
• BGS institute of technology, Mandya
• Bitm Bellary
• ACS college of engineering, Bangalore

Congratulations on getting a good rank through your performance in +2examinations. With this rank it is sure that you will find a seat in integrated Mtech program at either of the Vellore or Chennai campus as there are close to 2000 seats combined. You can get the seat in Vellore campus most probably in category 2/3 as the number of seats in first category is quite limited and is occupied by the top rankers.

However you will get it in category 1/2 at Chennai campus which has comparatively less hustle. Choose your choices well in counselling and prefer Vellore campus(category 1 or 2) over Chennai.

You have got a descent rank but it would not be sufficient to fetch you a integrated Mtech seat in software engineering under category 1 at Vellore campus of VIT. You can possibly get it in  second category but chances of it are slim as seats are limited and mentioned course is most common choice in integrated program.

The best possible options are:

1. Integrated CSE at Vellore(1 or2)
2. Integrated CSE with specialization in Data science at Vellore(Category 1 most probably else in second category)
3. Integrated CSE at Chennai (category 1)
4. Integrated CSE with specialization in business system at Chennai(Category 1)

As you have secured 75 percentile in JEE mains and you are wanting to take up any decent college of ggsipu so u would like to tell you in this percentile you can't get a good college .

So, I would recommend you considering you don't have any financial problem then you should go for vit vellore cse in category 3 but on the other hand if you manage to get cse in top 5 colleges in comedk ,you should definitely go for that as that would be financially easier.
