I am sorry to inform you that there is absolutely no chance for your second daughter to secure CSE/ECE in any of the five categories at Vellore or Chennai campus. Though she has option to go for Bhopal and AP campuses which have comparitively lower cutoffs.

Now talking about your son, his chances too are glim for CSE as it is the most demanded course. However there is a descent chance of him getting an ECE seat under category 4/5 at Chennai campus.

There is a descent chance of you getting information technology at Vellore institute of technology in category 5. Phase 3 counseling constitute of candidates having rank between 45000 and 75000 in VITEEE. Your chances are good because your rank  lies in top part for this phase and availability of large number of seats in category 5. Moreover students don't prefer a seat in category 5 due to high fee structure.

With reference to your query, I would like to know you that for persuing btech+mtech would be a very option but it will be agreement of 5 years in order to get btech degree you have to complete total5 years . My advise is to do btech and then prepare for gate to look for better options for mtech otherwise if you want to save a year then Integrated is good . Overally technical culture like coding is very good in this course ,their are many students who persue this course . Moreover, at the placements more priority is given to mtech students only

The comparison you are asking for both the colleges which you have mentioned is quite difficult as VIT and Amrita are considered as top private institution in India due to there impressive records in education and talking about infrastructure than i would say that both stand together because both provides a great Atmosphere for students to study. Now talking about ranking than Amrita is one step ahead of VIT because it has a NIRF ranking of 4th in India compare to other colleges and also it has been included in Global Ranking as well. The main thing which comes that is Placement records, so for this particular thing also they are just side by side means both have the placements of 90+ which is their biggest achievements. The last thing in which VIT will be higher is that in terms of strictness and difficult syllabus means you can find this both things in Amrita but not In VIT if we compare. So now all the decisions depends upon you that which will be the best choice for you according to your desire.

I will definitely say VIT Vellore will be better for BTech CSE branch rather than Integrated MTech in VIT BHOPAL because:

• VIT Vellore has better placement and infrastructure.
• Most companies prefers BTech over MTech because the industrial sector feel lacky while having specialization. Also you can observe the data, then you would see that MTech get lesser salary package than BTech in every institute.

Subject wise or curriculum Integrated MTech isn't bad but it is the course only if you are interested in it and not as you are getting chance in it.

If we compare these two colleges then my personal verdict would be VIT has an edge over the SNU but as per your question SNU would be a better option then VIT Bhopal specially for CSE.
