As such the branch is good, and so is the faculty and research facilities, however the placements are bleak in Core Companies. There are very few Mechanical Engineering Companies recruiting from VIT Vellore Campus except few, however the Placements are strong and most students get placed with Marketing, Software, Analytics

To be honest I think pes University cse branch would be a far better option than vit vellore cse. In these private colleges the college name doesn't matter. If you have the required skills then definitely the company will hire you irrespective of your college name.
