In order to take admission in VIT you have to give either of the following entrance VITEEE, through jee mains, 12th board.

According to your marks in class 12th you have a very low chances to get any of the top VITs may be you have to wait till the last round in order to get a seat in Bhopal or Amravati branch.

Since you have get 38711 rank in SC categeory in jee mains still you have a very low chances.

But since it is a private university there is a management quota you can aplly through this.

the fee of tutition + hostel in VIT is approx 3 lakhs per year.

VIT Bhopal provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The university provides 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 and 6 bedded spacious AC/NON-AC rooms , on the first come first serve rule. Hostel has 24x7 facilities. There is a garden in the hostel , medical room with nurse (24/7)  Reading room, Gymnasium , Mess area(big Hall) and a meeting room. There is also a LED room in mess, bio-metric system, every floor has water coolers,  Pest controlling thrice a week and also Laundry facilities too. There are both common washrooms and attached washrooms depending on the type of hostel rooms(1, 2, 3, bedded). There are securtiy guards on every floor as well as at the hostel gate. The eligibility criteria for the college you have mentioned is that you should have atleast 50% in your 10+2 with PCB/PCM combination depending on your course. Thus you don't have to worry about it, if you have good ranks in the entrances and if you get >50% then you will get admission depending on your rank in the colleges you mentioned.

According to previous year's cut-offs, for your VITEEE Rank it is difficult to get B.Tech Chemical Engineering branch in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in Category 1 mostly as your Rank does not falls under B.Tech Chemical Engineering Cutoffs given by experts and even in previous Cut-offs for this branch. But you can try in Category 2, 3, 4 or 5. But Cutoffs may vary and depends on many factors like number of students appeared in the exam, number of seats available, difficulty level of the exam, category etc. If you can't get in Category 1 and get seat in other categories then you need to pay additional amount apart from regular Tution Fees every year as per instructions given by VIT.

I want to inform you that CSE is one of the most admired course by the aspirants , and VIT AP is one of the premier institution , so you have to score high to get Admission in CSE , with a rank under 7k has a possibility of getting CSE, but you also have a chance because VIT offers Admission through different categories.

Yes, with 47238 Rank in VITEEE, I believe you have fair chances of securing CSE at VIT Bhopal or Amravati itself in Category 1 of Counselling. VIT Bhopal especially is rising upto standards of Vellore and Chennai campuses with good infrastructure, faculty and rising placement prospects.

Hi Kiran,

Vellore Institute of technology has announced counselling results for phase 1. Students were given a provisional allotment on the basis of their slot filling and  rank secured in VITEEE. As per the released notification, any requests for change in campus, course or category shall not be entertained.

So there is no way that you can change your allotted branch adding to it no one is allowed to participate in the counselling more than once.

Hello aspirant, first of all congratulation son getting a rank of 2494 in VITEEE and getting a category 2 seat. As far as I know you have only 2 choices. Either you can forfeit the seat or you have to book it. So it won't be possible to upgrade to category 1 once you have got the seat in category 2. You should book the seat if you are comfortable with the fees of category 2. The tuition fee for category 2 is around 3LPA. For further information about counselling process visit -
