ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hello dear aspirant
At first, I would like to congratulate you on successful completion of your VITEEE exam. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 20,000, you cannot get CSE, ECE or IT seats in Vellore campus in any fee category. You can try applying for Chennai campus. Whereas, you can easily secure a CS, ECE or any other seat in their Amravati (AP) and Bhopal campuses in 1st or 2nd fee categories itself as these are recently established.
VIT AP and VIT Bhopal offer many specialisations in CSE branch such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security and Digital forensics, Gaming Technology, Health Informatics, Networking and Security, Data Analytics, Robotics, Business Systems. These courses are future ready and have high placement opportunities. You can opt for the one you like from these specialisations.

Dear Diya Roy,
Yes, you have good chances of getting B. Tech Computer Science Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology based on previous year's cut-offs. As your Rank falls under previous year's cut-off ranks. For you Computer Science Engineering Specialization in Information Security would be better and even you have good chances of getting this branch also. The cut-offs will depend on factors like number of students appeared, number of seats available, category, difficulty level of the exam, etc.

But based on previous year's cut-offs you have decent chances of getting good branches in VIT Vellore your rank is near to previous year's cut-offs of those branches. Branches you have chances of getting seat in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore are mentioned below.
VIT Vellore Campus

Greeting of the day dear Anu
Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your VITEEE exam with flying colours. When it comes to CS branch, it's really tough to get it as it has high demand these days. The cut-off trends keep changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 12,000, you cannot secure a CS seat in Vellore campus in 1st category as the cutoff was 7000 in the year 2016. You can try applying for other categories in Vellore campus but its not certain that you would get it. Whereas, you can easily secure a CSE, ECE or IT seat in their Chennai campus in first category itself.

Hello Aditya,
No, with this Rank in VITEEE 2021 exam you can't get B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering course in Vellore Institute of Technology, Bhopal based on previous year's cut-offs. The Cutoffs varies from year to year and depends on many factors. Even in Category 5 for which you have to pay additional fees, it is difficult for you to get Computer Science Engineering branch in VIT Bhopal because the competition is more of Computer Science Engineering branch. You can try for some other branches but in Category 5 mostly.
You can go through below link to get more information about VITEEE cut-offs.

Best of Luck!!
Hi Anitha,
According to your VITEEE 2021 Rank you can only get mostly Non-IT branches atleast in round 2 or round 3 based on previous year's cut-offs through category 5. The cut-off vary from year to year and depends on many factors like number of students appeared, difficulty level of the exam, number of seats available, category, etc.
They may vary from year to year. If you want you can try category 5 where you need to pay 2.5 Lakhs extra per year for better branch.
You have chances of getting below mentioned branches in varies VIT Campuses.
VIT Bhopal Campus
Bio Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
VIT Chennai Campus
Mechanical Engineering
Mechatronics and Automation
VIT Vellore Campus
Production and Industrial Engineering
VIT Andhra Pradesh Campus
Mechanical Engineering
But you may try for IT branch in VIT Andhra Pradesh or VIT Bhopal as chances are better in these Campuses than VIT Vellore and VIT Chennai. The Cutoffs varies from year to year and depends on many factors.
