I got 21379 rank will i fall into 2nd category cse in VIT ?

The rank which you have mentioned is quite decent score and also it increases your chance of getting admission in VIT so now the category in which you will be is 2nd only because in top VIT the students in 1st category are considered those who have a very good marks ie, atleast less than 20k rank hence, they get the first preference of selecting their desired field but surely in some of the VIT’s there is a good chance that you might get 1st category as well ie, you can also try in VIT like Bhopal and Amravati.
