First of all, congrats on successful completion of VITEEE exam. When it comes to your first daughter, with a rank of 20,000 its hard to get a Electrical (EEE) seat in Vellore campus as the cut-off was 15,500 in the year 2016. She can try applying for Electrical branch at Chennai campus where she can easily get a EEE seat in 1st category itself.

Coming to your second daughter, it's really tough to get a CS seat as it has high demand these days. The cut-off trends keep changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 80,000, its not possible to get any seat in Vellore or Chennai campus in any category. Whereas, she can secure a CS seat in their Amravati (AP) and Bhopal campuses in 1st or 2nd fee categories itself as these are recently established.

VIT AP and VIT Bhopal offer many specialisations in CSE branch such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security and Digital forensics, Gaming Technology, Health Informatics, Networking and Security, Data Analytics, Robotics, Business Systems. You may not have the chances of getting seat in Computer Science Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. To have good chances of getting seat in CSE you will need to secure a rank below 14000. The cut off for CSE will be comparatively less than cut off for other branches so the better rank you secure the better chances you will have to secure admission to CSE. You may apply for other branches such as Civil Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai as you have good chances of getting seat in the specified branch. Cut off is determined by various factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

It is not possible to get CSE in VIT Vellore. However, VIT Chennai might offer CSE in the next phases.

It must be noted that owing to different factors the cut-off ranking vary every year.

Yes, it is indeed true that B. Tech in Bioengineering is available at VIT Bhopal only.

Interested students are required to appear for the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE). Students who secure a rank within the cutoff for Bioengineering at VIT Bhopal are admitted for the course through counselling.

see you will be allotted streams as per your choice given on counselling. now if you have given b.tech cse over b.tech cse with specialization of data science, based on your rank and score b.tech cse seats would be evaluated, however if no seats available for b.tech cse based on your score than the next priority will be considered. so you should be very sincere while filling the choices as per your interest. to know details about counselling process follow our article at below link:

Yes with this rank you can get cse in any specialization in 1 and 2 quota in vit ap,bhopal and Chennai. In vit vellore it may go to quota 3 or 4. In quota 1 fess for cse will be around 1.98 lakhs per year, in quota 2 it will be around 2.32 lakhs per year and this will increase with quota.

Hope you are doing well.For getting CSE in VIT Bhopal or VIT AP,you should rank atleast 30,000 in 1st category and 75000 in 2nd category.So,I think its quite difficult for you to get CSE.You can try gettting admission in other branches if you want.

Hope you are doing well.According to your rank, it is difficult to get CSE in VIT Vellore.The cutoff rank of CSE in VIT Velllore is 7000.So,I would suggest you to try getting admission in other VITs.You can also try for  other branches in VIT Vellore.

Hello aspirant, it is very easy to get CSE in VIT Bhopal or VIT AP as they are recently established . Generally CSE cutoff for category 1 for VIT Bhopal is under 25000 rank and getting category 2,or 3 is even more easier.

For category 1 the tuition fees is around 1.98 LPA. For category 2 the fees is around 2.32 Lakh per annum and for category 3 it is about 3.5 Lakh per annum. So if you are comfortable with the fees then you should try to get a seat in core branches in VIT or according to my opinion you should try to get CSE branch in other colleges that will require a much lesser fees also VIT Bhopal is a newly established collage and has no placement records so choose accordingly.
