ccording to previous year trends you need under 5K rank for CSE branch in category 1 , under 10K rank for category 2 and under 20K rank for category 3 or 4 for VIT Vellore and VIT Chennai. However for VIT Bhopal and VIT AP you can get CSE in category 1 if your rank is under 25K as these are newly established and CSE branch is easily available in these VITs. The tuition fees for category 1 is around 1.98 LPA. You can get CSE in VIT Vellore main branch or VIT Chennai branch if you are under the cutoff rank and if you are comfortable to pay the required fees.

Every year various factors are considered based  on which the VITEEE cutoff rank is dependent which includes the number of candidates who appeared for the VITEEE exam , the difficulty level of VITEEE,etc.According to previous years VITEEE cutoff ranks you can get CSE branch in category 1 if you have rank under 7000.
