It is really unpredictable because cut-offs changes every year. But based on previous year's cut-offs it can be said that it is difficult for you to get Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in Category 1, for your VITEEE Rank because your rank is not in the range of previous year's cut-offs of B. Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering in VIT Vellore Campus.

You may get B. Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Category 2 or 3 but you need to pay additional fees amount for 4 years.

You have decent chances of getting Biotechnology branch in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore for your VITEEE Rank because your rank is near to previous year's cut-offs of B. Tech Biotechnology in VIT Vellore Campus. You may get B. Tech Biotechnology in Category 5 but you need to pay additional Rs. 2.5 Lakhs per annum.

With a rank near to 87,000, its not possible to get a CSE seat in Vellore or Chennai campus in any category. Whereas, you can secure a CS seat in their Amravati (AP) and Bhopal campuses in 1st category itself as these are recently established.

Hope you are doing well.For getting admission in Comp.Sc Engg. in VIT Vellore you should have rank upto 7000 and for Comp.Science Engg.(Spec.in Information Security) ,you should have rank upto 7500.But,according to your rank you can admission in Computer science and Engg. As your daughter rank is around 11000 and the rank needed to get in cse is around 8000 and for cse with specialisation in Bioinformatics could be around 12000 in the first counselling in category 1 only. So I probably say she can easily get in the first counselling. Go on with the university updates about the counselling.
