VIT Bhopal and VIT AP are the recently established institutes so the cut-offs here are low as compared to VIT Vellore and VIT Chennai. You secured 56015th rank in VITEEE 2021 which is not sufficient to get admission to the CSE branch in the 1st counseling round at VIT Bhopal. Still, you can try till the last round but chances are very less.

Despite being a new VIT college, VIT Bhopal's cut-off for VITEEE is under 50000th rank for the CSE branch. You can try there for admission but chances are very mere. VIT AP is also the newly established VIT college. With 56015th rank, you can easily get admission to CSE Branch at VIT AP. But the thing is that here also you have to keep patience and try till the last counseling round.

First of all I would like to congratulate you for scoring such a good rank. When it comes to CSE branch, the cut-off was 7000 in the year 2016. So, easily you will be able to secure a CSE seat in Vellore campus in 1st fee category itself. Just participate in their counselling process.

Your son secured a descent 11000th rank in the VITEEE exam. As per the previous year's offs and the availability of seats at VIT Chennai and VIT Vellore, I suggest that your son should opt for the CSE specialization in category-2 in both colleges.

The cut off to get admission to Computer Science Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore is expected to be in between 7000-8000. According to your VITEEE 2021 Rank it is difficult to get Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai. But you may have chances of getting Mechanical Engineering in VIT Andhra Pradesh and VIT Bhopal based on previous year's cut-offs. The cutoffs varies from year to year and branch to branch and campus to campus.

The cut-offs depends on many factors like number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, number of seats available, category, branches etc. But you can try for Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering seat in other categories like 4 or 5 but you need to pay additional fees.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, and Chennai are some of the leading engineering institutions in India. Even sometimes they are regarded as the No.1 private engineering college in India. As the placement and other facilities of the college are up to the mark, near around 2 lakhs of students every year gives VITEEE exam to get admission either to VIT, Vellore or VIT, Chennai. So, the competition is very high.

Every year, in total, VIT Vellore provides only 5,000 seats for admission and VIT Chennai provides 273 seats in Computer Science and Engineering branch for admission. As you said you secured 104411th rank in the VITEEE exam which is even far away from the 10,000th rank, it is more than impossible for you to get into either VIT, Vellore, or VIT, Chennai.

As per previous years records, you can try getting ECE seat in VIT Vellore campus under category 4 or 5 . But if you only want Bhopal campus, then as per previous years records, you can get CSE under category 2 with rank upto 55k and ECE as well. Also, if you do not get the required seat under category 1 or 2 then do not get disheartened you can always sit for category 3 and so on.

As per the previous records, you can get all the branches except CSE and IT in VIT Vellore campus. As to get CSE you must have atleast rank under 5000 for IT it must be under 9000. So, you can apply for other branches such as ECE, Civil, mechanical etc. in any campus or you can apply for CSE in Chennai campus. But if you do not get the required branch do not get disheartened you can sit for category 2 anytime.

VIT has announced the results for VITEEE held on 28, 29 and 31st May. It has also released a set of guidelines for the admission procedure through a circular.

As per the released guidelines, students with a rank above 100000 are only allowed admissions in the Bhopal and Amravati campuses that too in phase 5. So there is no way you can even  get admission at VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai.

Looking at the recent few years cutoffs trend, then you are aspiring for CSE in VIT Vellore, then unfortunately, you could not make it to VIT Vellore CSE as there Computer science branch get closed around 7000 VITEEE ranks.

Still, if you are really interested to be in this college with any branch then you have few options of branches like Civil engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical engineering, Biomedical engineering and Biotechnology.
