KLM:

As per the present scenario the fees is 2.3L per year. Then Exam fess, certification fees, donation, suppliment fees, bus fees, hostel fees, placement fees all together you have to spend atleast 20L to complete 4 years of study.100 percent placements is 100 percent bogus.

VIT:

Vit is one of the most diverse college in India with international standards. Along with flexible curriculum (FFCS) you will have so many options to build your extra curricular too. It has many clubs and chapetrs. Facility iniside campus are much better than any NITs and many IITs ex. Library , labs , hostel…etc. Though you have to face some strict rules and regulations like campus in-out timings.

ACCORDING TO MY KNOWLEDGE VIT IS BETTER OPTION.

Btech in Computer Science and Engineering at VIT Vellore is preferable over Graphic Era University. There are certain things to compare between both the Universities.

The NIRF ranking of VIT Vellore is 15 which is a great plus. VIT Vellore is been approved by AICTE and UGC, whereas Graphic Era University is only UGC approved.

The average package of VIT vellore is 5 to 6LPA and highest can go upto 42 LPA. Graphic Era University has highest package of 42 to 43 LPA.

At the end the package you get completely depends upon your caliber and knowledge.

VIT does not take JEE score for admission. In order to get admission in VIT you have to give VITEEE and qualify.  Then only you can appear for counselling in VIT. So, you can not get admission in VIT University through JEE Main. But, you can get admission in other private colleges through JEE.

Graphic Era University is a good private college, but nothing when compared to VIT Vellore. If you have a choice for BTech CSE, choose VIT Vellore over GEU blindly. In every aspect, VIT is better than GEU for any branch, be it facilities, be it opportunities, be it placements, everything.

To get a seat in VIT you have to qualify VITEEE. The examinations requires qualifying exam marks requirement:

• Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination.

• However, the minimum percentage marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states is 50%.

If you are not from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh / SC/ST and the North Eastern states then you are not eligible for VITEEE and that means you are not going to have a seat in VIT.

Vellore Institute conducts entrance exam VITEEE for lateral entry admission into 2nd year of engineering after completion diploma in engineering course.You can enroll directly into 2nd year of mechanical engineering through lateral entry admission after your diploma in mechanical engineering. Candidate should have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks from approved college by AICTE.

If you want to take admission in CSE only and you are not getting any good NITs. Then I would suggest you to go for top private / deemed colleges over where you can get CSE branch such as :

VIT Vellore

SRM Chennai

DTU, Delhi

RV college of engineering

BITS Pilani

UPES Dehradun

Punjab University etc.
