All the best.

Hello,

VIT engineering entrance exam is conducted by VIT Vellore for filling up B.Tech seats offered by VIT participating institutes that are VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amravati.

It is a University level exam.

It is a Computer Based Test of duration 2 hours 30 minutes and consisting of the following sections:

  • Mathematics/Biology - 40 Questions

  • Physics - 35 Questions

  • Chemistry - 35 Questions

  • Aptitude - 10 Questions

  • English - 5 Questions

THERE WILL BE NO NEGATIVE MARKINGS

Below I have provided some tips for preparing for VITEEE.

  • The most important thing that has to be done first is to understand the exam pattern, the dates and the syllabus . This helps you to understand which topics you will have to spend more time on and plan your timetable accordingly

  • Once you get to know about the syllabus and the dates, now you can set a timetable. You can decide how many days or hours you will be keeping for each subjects, revision and to practice previous year papers and mock tests. Manage time in a way that you spend enough time on difficult topics and also ensure that you have ample time for revision and practice.

  • While studying the subjects make sure you keep note of important points and equations in a separate book . This will come in handy at the time of revision.

  • Once you are done studying the subjects start revising and doing previous year papers and mock question papers on a daily basis . This helps you to recollect the formulas, gives you an idea on where you have to improve and will also help you to manage time better. Make it a point to solve atleast one paper every day during the month you have kept apart for revision and practicing question papers.

Below I have shared a link where you can get sample question papers.:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/viteee-mock-test

  • Another important thing is that don’t study anything new at the last minute and this can create confusions.

  • NEVER TAKE YOUR HEALTH FOR GRANTED . Get proper sleep, eat healthy food and keep your self hydrated. Ensure that you do not stress your self too much and give enough time to relax and take breaks. Always remember that if you are stressed out then take a break as it would not bring out any good results when you put yourself in more stress.

  • Finally, on the day of the exam relax and don’t get tensed. Keep your mind clear and give the exam.  You will surely be able to do well.

Following these and being completely dedicated to this, I am sure you will be able to do well in the exam.

Hope this was useful.

Good Luck

As they are the good institutions so their cutoff is bit high. But that too is not sure. So just fill the form for counseling CAP round and see what happens. You can try out for these colleges :

  1. GH Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pune
  2. Jawahar Education Society's AC Patil College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai
  3. KC College of Engineering and Management Studies and Research, Thane
  4. MET Bhujbal Knowledge City, Nashik
  5. Prof Ram Meghe Institute of Technology and Research, Badnera
  6. Sandip Institute of Technology and Research Center, Nashik
  7. RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering, Warje
  8. Zeal College of Engineering and Research, Narhe
  9. Dr DY Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ambi, Pune
  10. GH Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur

Hey!

It is quite popular that VIT is known for its placement records specially for CSE, IT, ECE and EIE. So, as per the reviews the placement record for instrumentation in VIT is considerable in the companies such as  Amazon, Deloitte, TCS etc. with average salary package of 6-8 lakhs. Also, Pimpri chinchwad college has good placement record for mechanical engineering students, upto 80% in the companies like Tech-Mahindra, 3DPLM, KPIT etc. with salary package upto 4-8 LPA. So, you can choose college depending on your interest as the placement record for both colleges is good.

Thankyou
