Thapar/VIT > LNMIT > JIIT

VIT vellore and thapar institute are popular for its placement records and are considered as the top engineering colleges in India. Also, when it comes for fee structure Thapar and VIt charge a low fee compared to LNMIIT. however JIIT also offers good placement opportunities to students but are not as much good as VIT or Thapar.

VIT vellore is considered as one of the top engineering colleges in India , also the facilities are appreciable here. All the faculty members are masters in their subjects. VIT is popular due to its placement records, especially for CSE and electronics/electrical engineering. But for production engineering the placement records are not that much good.

But if you want to take VIT only, then I advise you to choose it only if you are capable of changing your stream in second semester. Yes, you can migrate to any other stream in second year if you perform good in first year. Otherwise, it will become difficult for you to grab a good placement opportunity here.

There is a 50-50 chance of viteee being conducted amongst this pandemic situation prevailing inthe country. Although we cannot exactly say anything about the situation, the decision depends on the authorities. So we would suggest you to study for both viteee and jee mains and the syllabus is almost same for both of them so there is no issue if viteee even gets cancelled.

JEE Mains is one common examination held for ally he engineering colleges. JEE Mains is conducted separate for every Institute. If you are not eligible for JEE Mains, then their are many other state and university level entrance examination conducted for admission into engineering colleges.

Yes. VIT Vellore is well reputed college. University is ranked in 1st place in Vellore, Tamil nadu. VIT is a private ownership. To get admission into the college you need to crack entrance examination. Entrance examination depends on the course you choose. Faculty of the College is very good and well supportive. Coming to placements, median pakage for civil engineering branch is 3.80 lakhs.

VITEEE 2021 is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology every year for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (BTech) of participating institutes. VIT University has released the application form for VITEE 2021 online on November 30, 2020. The last date to fill the application form is March 30, 2021. VIT Vellore has no Reserved Category unlike National Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations by NTA. However,in 2021, VIT will be accepting JEE Main Score for admission purposes. Securing a Rank within Top 100k in JEE Main, you can expect securing a seat in either of CSE, CSE (Specializations), IT, ECE or EE at VIT Vellore.
