                  VIT does provide you with an option to change your branch after the first year. After the first semester, you will need to choose subjects for your second semester in a process called FFCS. During FFCS you need to choose 2 subjects of CSE which will be informed

I don't mean to dishearten you but yes, for any rank above 20,000, the question “which branch will I get/should I take?” holds no meaning.

Above 20,000 rank you'll pay higher fees as compared to those who secured
