Since you come under slot 4 of phase 2 counselling and your chances of getting Mechanical is somewhat in dilemma because it depends on no of students interested in Mechanical branch as well total stength of seats in Mechanical department at Vellore campus.

If the rank in VIT is 56700, what streams are available and in which campus?

For VIT Vellore, the top 55000 ranks are considered in race for admissions.
So you hav every mediocre chances of conversion here for both chenai and Vellore campus.

However, your conversion rate seems better at Amravati and Bhopal campus where top 1.5lac students are called for counselling.

The fees doesn't depend on your rank. But yes, you can get scholarship from your college as your rank is quite good. You need to contact your college administration dept regarding the scholarship application procedure.

Yeah you are in the domain to take these branches at Vellore or Chennai campus since you come under phase 2 counselling possibly you will get Bio group in Chennai campus but may be you will get somewhat difficulty to opt Biotech in counselling because students having PCB

College Infrastructure

Vellore Institute of Technology has a really nice infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and hostels. Wi-Fi is only available for 20 hours as it gets switched off around midnight. Campus is big and nice, but it can get crowded. Hostels are very hygienic as they get cleaned daily.
