Chances are less for CSE at ViT BHopal although incase of cancellation you might secure seats.
You can alternatively try out otherbranches like Production engineering, Civil Engineering and Electronic engineering where you have good probability of conversion.

Counselling shall begin from 19th and 20th May 2018.

According to the rank, you have decent chances to get admission in top engineering branches like Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication engineering, Electrical and electronics engineering.

You can get CSE branch in VIT Chennai.

Your friend may get vit bhopal or amravati as these are the new campus of vit.

Your rank is not decent for getting top campus but here are some possibility for amravati campus but you may try for other colleges...don't waste you time on the hope but you may get better colleges in your state board...

My rank is 41k ,Will i get petroleum branch in vit?

Petroleum engineering is not orovided by Vellore and Chennai campus.

You can try Production and Industrial engineering where you have decent chances of conversion.
For petroleum engineering, you can opt for Bhopal and Amaravti campus.

College Infrastructure

Great lab infrastructure. Many advance equipments. Big campus with many food options available. Very crowded though, it's like there is a whole city inside the campus. Buses are there to travel inside the campus.

College Infrastructure

VIT Vellore has excellent infrastructure with modern academic buildings, well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, a spacious library, and campus-wide Wi-Fi. The hostels are well maintained, and there are good sports facilities, cafeterias, auditoriums, and green spaces. The campus is clean, safe, and provides a comfortable environment for learning. However, due to the large student population, some facilities can become crowded during peak hours. Overall, the infrastructure is impressive and supports both academics and extracurricular activities very well.
