Closing rank of Most of the branches at both campuses was under 40000 for last 3 years. So there are absolutely no chance that you will get any branch. Still wait for the counselling.

The VIT Bhopal is a recently started college and i suggest you that to try other campus but with the above rank you might not get core branches.
Frankly vit maintains its standards but try for old campus

Chances for selection in top branches at VIT are very less as majority of them close down by 55000.

You can check the previous trends from 2016 and 2015 for closing ranks of all branches.

All those who score rank 1 to 8000 have to appear for the counselling on May 9 while for rank 8001 to 14000, it is May 10. For those who hold 14001 20000 ranks

How is VIT, Bhopal rated in terms of placements?

Vit bhopal is new campus of vit so it's placement is not good as vit vellore and even its first graduating batch will come in 2020

Sorry to say I don't think VIT have a scholarship scene for students until and unless you scored very well and get a rank in top 100 students but with this rank I don't think you'll be provided any scholarship even though you belong to OBC category.

College Infrastructure

Vellore Institute of Technology has a really nice infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and hostels. Wi-Fi is only available for 20 hours as it gets switched off around midnight. Campus is big and nice, but it can get crowded. Hostels are very hygienic as they get cleaned daily.
