    Both the colleges are good but I would keep VIT specially the main campus first then will consider SVNIT.

    You need to practice for VIT in order to crack this exam. VITEEE checks students on the basis of concept, speed, accuracy, time management and decision making power. As there is no negative marking in the exam so, try to attempt as many as questions in the exam.

    Both the branches are good but I would say mechanical should be your preference as it has more opprtunities. But better to consider your interest and potential before choosing any branch.

    No you have to give their own test named viteee.

    Your question is not clear, please tell where you wish to get admission in M.Tech course like in India (University/College), or in abroad and please be specific with your interested country and university also if you are asking for M.Tech in abroad.

    VIT is better than MS Ramaiah specially the main campus. And to get seat in VIT in mechanical branch you will have to get more than 100 so plan your preparation accordingly.

    Vellore Institute of Technology has a really nice infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and hostels. Wi-Fi is only available for 20 hours as it gets switched off around midnight. Campus is big and nice, but it can get crowded. Hostels are very hygienic as they get cleaned daily.
