Is VIT equal to the standard of NIT?

VIT, vellore is one of the top private college in India but you can not compare VIT with top NITs like Warangal,Surathkal, Tiruchirapalli, Calicut, Allahabad Etc. these NITs are very good as compare to VIT.

No, lateral entry admissions are not available in VIT as all the students have to clear its entrance test to get admission there.

After 12th can I do BCA IN VIT

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination withMathematics as one of the subjects with minimum of 70% overall aggregate.

College Infrastructure

Vellore Institute of Technology has a really nice infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and hostels. Wi-Fi is only available for 20 hours as it gets switched off around midnight. Campus is big and nice, but it can get crowded. Hostels are very hygienic as they get cleaned daily.
