Qualified candidates will have to register and participate in the VITEEE counselling 2022 for admission into the participating institutes. VITEEE 2022 counselling will be held online and the process will consist of registration, choice filling, seat allotment and confirmation of admission.

NO you cannot get admission to vit on the basis of ecet score or rank as vit does not accept it for admission you can get admission here on the basis of jee main score or on the basis of viteee exam conducted by vit itself so you wil have to move according to these steps to secure admission as no other exam will be accepted for admission to vit also you can contact them for getting direct admission on the basis of management quota

Scholarships provided in SRM are :-

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship (Socio-economic disdained)

Scholarships, 25% to 100% tuition fee waiver, is offered to students who are economically challenged based on their performance in the qualifying examination.

Scholarship for Minority Community.

Scholarship, 25% to 100% tuition fee waiver, is offered to students of minority community based on their performance of students in the qualifying.

Scholarship for Physically challenged/Differently-abled

Scholarship with full tuition fee waivered is offered to selected students who are physically challenged/differently abled.

Scholarship for Special Merits

Scholarship with tuition fee waivered up to 100% is offered to selected students possessing exemplary skills in literary debating, fine arts and others.

Scholarships provided in VIT are :-

Toppers of each State Board and Central Board- 100% Tuition Fee wavier for all four years VITEEE rank holders of 1 to 50-75% Tuition Fee waiver for all four years.

VITEEE rank holders of 51 to 100-50% Tuition Fee waiver for all four years.

VITEEE rank holders of 101 to 1000-25% Tuition Fee waiver for all four years.

Scholarships provided in Amrita are :-

Amrita School of Engineering provides Amrita Vidyanidhi Scholarship based on their Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE).

Scholarships provided in UPES are :-

UPES provides Merit-Based Scholarship. Scholarship will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 80% marks in class X and XII & 80% marks in PCM for B.Tech (All Streams) in CBSE/ICSE/State Examination Board.

I hope you are doing well. Last year the cut off (MHT CET percentile) for OBC category was as follows in round 2 of MHT CET counselling to get admission in the above mentioned colleges was above 95 percentile.

Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in CSE or IT in the preferred institutes. Cut off may increase or decrease depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

See Vellore Institute of Technology is leading private Engineering college in under which is ranked 11th in the NIRF rankings. The lowest fees lab at the University is of two lacs per annum and students need to be in first category to avail this. There are 5 categories at the institute and fee varies from rupees 200000 to 5 lacs. Now if you want to be in the first category, you need to work extremely hard and get rank under 5000. In Computer Science and Engineering along with core 3 more specialisations are offered so there is no limitations of seats but the competition is high for the first category.

The faculty at VIT is better than SRM. All the faculty members are cooperative and will support to shape your future. You will be given proper guidance as to what you should do to pursue your dream career.
Teaching techniques of VIT are better. There are many clubs in VIT where you can join. In those clubs there you can enhance yourself to grow well those clubs provide you different opportunities to do projects. This will expand your creativity and innovation.

The campus life of both VIT and SRM are quite good but there are plenty of distractions in SRM( negative ones) in SRM than VIT. The placements at VIT are pretty good when compared with SRM. The average package for CSE at VIT ranges around 7.5-8 LPA whereas at SRM the average package for CSE is 4.8-5 LPA.

Unfortunately , a lateral entry is not possible in any of the VITs. Admission is possible only through direct entry for every course . The direct entry is possible in second year.

You must appear for VITEEE exam and apply for direct entry in the first year .
