The admission is based on merit in VITEEE 2022. The application process for VITEEE 2022 is ongoing and the last date to apply is May 31, 2022. The exam will be conducted from June 30, 2022 to July 6, 2022. The eligibility criteria to get admission to B.Tech Bio-Technology is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination.  Candidates belonging to SC/ST category and Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura need to score minimum 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination. Candidate's date of birth falling on or after 1st July 2000 are eligible to apply for VITEEE 2022. The applicant should be a Resident of India/ Non Resident Indian National / PIO.

You need to register for Bridge course in Mathematics after the admission as you are seeking admission to B.Tech Biotechnology. This is only applicable if you have studied Biology, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 level. If you have studied Mathematics along with Biology, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 level then you do have to enroll for bridge course in Mathematics.

There's no seperate way for Btech biotechnology, you just need to fill VITEEE application form, give the entrance examination, participate in counselling, fill btech biotechnology in counselling in choice filling and then on the basis of your rank, you can get admission in btech biotechnology.

From your marks only is impossible to tell how much fee you would have to pay at Vellore institute of technology. There are total 5 fee categories at Vellore Institute of Technology and fee structure for each increases from category 1 to 5. Now the  fee you would have to pay depends upon the category you get during the counselling.

Now talking about the allotment of category it is completely based upon the performance of you in the entrance examination as well as the choices made for branch. For example suppose there are 1000 seats available for Computer Science and Engineering then top 1000 students who have applied for this course would be given allotment in five different categories with the upper rank holders being given the lowest category and those have to pay lesser fee as compared to others. As I said it completely depends upon the choices made by you in accordance to your rank so that means the less common choices you give in counselling higher is the chance of getting lower fee category. I would want to make this clear by giving any example suppose you have got 5000 rank in the entrance examination then for Computer Science and Engineering you might get category 2 or 3 as there is high demand for this course while if you choose some lesser preferred branch such as mechanical or electrical engineering then you can get it easily in category 1. There is nothing such as free seat in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. Admissions to all the BTech courses across the various campuses of the University is done based upon the candidates performance in VITEEE. The fee structure of the course depends upon the branch you are opting for and your rank in the entrance examination. There are five different fee category at the college the fee for category one is lowest and is around 2 lakhs per annum while the fee for category 5 being the highest and is around 5 lakhs per annum. Also I want to add that it is not possible to predict your category even your marks is known because it completely depends upon the choices made by other candidates and your performance among them.

For example for the same rank you will get Computer Science and Engineering in category 3 or 4 while for the same rank you will get mechanical engineering in category one or two easily so it is completely the game of preferences.

The eligibility criteria is passed bachelor's degree of three years duration such as BCA/BSc IT or Computer Science with mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level securing 60% aggregate, final year/semester students too are eligible to apply however they should have completed the course prior to counselling of VIT,

application form is already released on 1st March, and last date is 20th May, slot booking will begin on 26th and 27th May, and exam in CBT/IBT mode will be on 4th and 5th June,

I would like to tell you that YES, there is a particular entrance exam for VIT BBA and that is known as VITBEE( VIT BBA Entrance Examination). Eligibility for scholarship will be based on the score obtained in the VITBEE (VIT BBA Entrance Examination) conducted by VIT Chennai . The students opting to do the first 2 years in VIT and the next 2 years in RIT will be eligible for merit based scholarships offered by RIT.
