Hope it cleared your doubt!!!
Dear aspirant,
There is as such no specific cut off related to the examination but I would like to tell you try to score atleast 50% marks of the total examination. You would be on a safer side.
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
It's very important to score a bit high because in these private colleges the entrance examination are generally easy and high scoring.
Hi aspirant,
Vellore Institute of Technology is mainly and Engineering College and requires mathematics as compulsory subject in most of the cases. Candidates appearing for the VITEEE should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate). Now in case you have only Biology as your subject you would be only eligible for BTech in biotechnology and not others. Also you can go for Computer Science and Engineering with specialisation in bioinformatics that requires physics chemistry and Biology subjects. You can also do bachelors in science which are also available at University but for this you need not appear for the entrance examination as it is offered on merit basis based upon intermediate scores. In addition to this you can go for bio engineering course but only available at Bhopal campus.
Hope it helps!
Hi aspirant,
Vellore Institute of Technology is one of the leading private colleges in India. For getting admission into integrated m.tech program candidates need to fill a application form which is available on the official website of the college and seats are allotted to them on merit basis. For allotting seats scores of class 12 are taken into consideration and students are given different categories for the branch in which they want admission for. The better your percentage would be the the lesser fee you need to pay. The application forms are generally released by the end of April so you need to have an eye on the official website of the college.
Hope it helps!
Hi aspirant,
No you cannot get admission at Vellore Institute of Technology for the lateral entry program as there is no such course offered by the University. All the courses offered by University are done through VITEEE only and no other criteria is considered for admission except integrated Mtech course. Also you cannot appear for the entrance examination as c andidates who opt for Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude will be eligible for all the BTech courses.
hope it helps!
Dear aspirant hope you are doing well..
BITS HYDERABAD IS BETTER THAN VIT VELLORE.
And in terms of education BITS hyderabad is better than VIT VELLORE. But due to some reasons it may create some doubt in your mind but I used to tell that, for core branches it is better to join a college which has good faculty and academics and a brand name.

Thank you
Hi aspirant,
Vellore institute of technology does not conduct any scholarship examination in such but it conducts VITEEE to offer admission into the various campuses of the college. The top rankers are allotted seats in in category 1 the fee structure of which is the lowest in VIT. The better you for home in the examination lower is the category and lower would be the few would have to pay. Now coming to the main part of your question the examination would be held in online Computer based mode but at designated centres across various cities. That means you cannot appear for the entrance examination from your home.
Hope it helps!
Hi aspirant,
Both the college mentioned by you are the leading top private Engineering colleges in India. In my opinion and analysing the statistics of both the College Vellore Institute of Technology is far ahead of RV College of Engineering. Vellore Institute of Technology was established in year 1983 and is spread over 400 acres. It has an amazing infrastructure with all the world class facilities including library, labs and seminar halls. In the recent times it has set amazing records for placement with the average being around 7.5 lacs for the year 2021-22. Average package for Computer Science and Engineering is around 8 lakhs. RV College of Engineering has similar placement statistics but you would not get that sort of infrastructure and environment that helps an individual to grow as a whole. The only condition I would suggest you to choose are we College of Engineering over VIT is when you do not get a seat in VIT under category 3. This is because the fee structure for category 4 and category 5 students is very high and you would not get that's sort of return of investment.
Hope it helps!
