After iiit Hyderabad, there is bits pilani,nit Warangal, nsut Delhi, nit Rourkela and nit kurukshetra. Apart from these there are many IITs like bombay, delhi, roorkee, Kharagpur, kanpur which are famous for their placements in cse branch.

VIT is more of a kind of college which takes admission in bulk where as RV takes more through merit. Vit takes approximately 1000 students per branch, RV takes probably 150. In RV one would receive much larger attention and certainly have better faculty, trust me I've seen both, vit professors are not the friendly ones at all. Also there would be less biasing in RV with a much smaller crowd comparison to vit.

In the branch of CSE from rvce you'll get a package of over 7lpa if you can get through your interviews. This is for I'm guessing 50%of the class at least, vit can claim such salaries to probably 10% of ours passouts at max. Vit is more of the 3L Infosys job types.

Though you might have heard that VIT is giving a platform for awesome placements yes it's true but just for the ones who have inherited talent.

The suitability norm is as comes next.

1. English must be studied at the HSC level OR The aspirant must be a learner of an English medium school.
2. Maths and Phy are mandatory subjects at A level/Form VI/ Senior VI or it's coequal.
3. The third subject can be Chem. / Computer Sci. / Electronics / Biotech./ Bio.
4. For B.Tech. in Biotech. or Biomedical engrg. aspirants PCM OR PCB is desirable.
5. Qualified with 55% or more with subjects in 12th standard or its coequal.
6. Prospects who belong to Nepal qualified with a 55% or more in the aforementioned subjects for the 11th standard and 12th standard entirely.
7. The aspirant must submit evidence of foreign nationality, i.e., legal Passport or National ID.
8. Exam of the foreign country as established coequal to 10+2 examination of India by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) will be considered.

NRI / Foreign aspirants can get acknowledgment directly by NRI / Foreign section for entry to the B.Tech program.

VITEEE is not obligatory for this.

VITEEE is going to be conducted in online mode but at exam centers. Candidates need to go to the exam center and give the exam. The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT Vellore) has released the VITEEE 2022 application form on its official website. To answer your question regarding whether VIT is good for B.Tech(CSE), then yes VIT is quite great for this course.

The syllabus for VITEEE exam are mentioned below.

• Physics-

Current Electricity

• Chemistry- Carboxylic Acids and their Derivatives

• Maths- Vector Algebra

The exam pattern is such that the mode of exam is Online, that is, Computer based test. Duration of exam is 2 hour and 30 minutes. There will be 5 sections namely Maths, Physics, Chemistry, engmish and aptitude. MCQ type questions will be asked. Total number of questions wil be 125.

I would recommend taking up B.Tech from Universities like VIT Vellore as compared to B.Sc. because the career opportunities in B.Tech field especially Computer Science are vast and if you do B.Tech from a reputed college, you are most likely to get good placement considering you are not particularly interested in B.Sc and you see yourself working in companies with a B.Tech degree.

There is no information available about the number of seats available in VIT Vellore for bca course but every year there is some increment in the number of seat . The total fees in the course of bca is 1.65 L per year excluding the hostel and mess fees . The duration of bca is 3 years.

Students need to fill the application form only to take admission then they would be shortlisted. 60% is the minimum criteria required in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Vellore institute of technology is the top ranked private Engineering college of India with the ranking of 12 as per the latest rankings of MHRD.
