My self Dr CHAKRAVARTHULA S K RAJU,

      College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very good interms of labs and computer as well as simulation labs with latest trending softwares. The central library is very good with centralised AC. Now they have introduced the newly online returning policy as well it make very easy to return the books.

      Academics

I completed there doctrorate degree in School of Advanced Sciences, under Mathematics department. The teaching methodology is very good. Since whatever they were teaching in class same thing they were explaining with simulation softwares.

      Placements

When I was in Vellore Institute of Technology, the placements were good. Since worked as placement students coordinator for the all online exams. It was very horrible to control the batches. Sometimes it may goto midnights upto 12. By these we can understand that there are not having slots to conduct day time. This tell us placements are good.

      Campus Life

The college fee for doctrorate degree is very low when I was jn VIT. At present situation I didn't know. I have paid only 20k for four years. But my case I have completed within three years so they have given to me 5k and converted into thesis fee. I was happy with fee

      Others

Over all the college environment is very good for all the actively like academics, and personal skills development and culrturals. It is very great place to learn the new things and create the new thing's.

      College Infrastructure

It has great infrastructure with a huge and beautiful campus. It has all the required amenities and there are many options for the type of room one wants to live in. The food is good and hygsnic and with a lot of options. The canpus also has dominos and Nescafe shops almost at every nook and corner.

      Academics

I am currently in the second year of my BTech in IT. I am studying this because I have a nick for coding and well computer is the future. The study makes me job ready and the curriculum is being updated on a regular basis with different types of exams

      Placements

VIT has a 100% placement record and that explains a lot. The highest salary recieved this year was 80 LPA and the average salary was 15 lacs. The placement process is a rigorous training to make you ready for anything thrown at you and it bares its fruits.

      Value for Money

I am paying 1.5 LPA and I feel I an getting the value for money for the facilities provided and the plethora of opportunities we get

      Campus Life

There are a lot of clubs and chapters and there will not be a day in your college life that eill not be eventful. There is always something happening and you can choose from film making to building cars to coding. The options are limitless. The support staff in general is very supportive however there might be issues with languages.

      Best college after IITS

      College Infrastructure

VIT vellore has just the right infrastructure...... There is everything one needs in a college, from library to playing grounds, swimming pool, laboratories, auditorium, party space, various shops for buying anything you need. At every other end you'll find a coffee shop or a general fast food shop......travelling is made easy with the shuttle service present from morning to midnight.......library is world class with over a lakh of books.....its a huge Library with 3 floors....Gym is there.

      Academics

Academics is good, with some really good teachers and some not so good ones( no offense), practical experience is fair enough, the curriculum is very good.....it makes us job ready. Questions asked in the exams are more of application rather than just simple theory so that again makes us job ready. Overall the academics is at par with most of the list A colleges. There is a Good faculty and subject choosing system which enables students to select their faculty and subjects its called FFCS.

      Placements

So far I have seen some really good placements happening...in fact VIT vellore has been creating and breaking their own record in the limca book of records..... This year as well many records have been broken in terms of placement. Companies like amazon Microsoft ola uber etc do come for recruiting... The average salary offered this year was 6.5 lacs which is an increase of 1.5 lacs from the previous year, which is a great sign. The college is very supportive in placements.

      Value for Money

Yes I do feel the money which I have paid for is really what I wanted. Spending money in VIT vellore is really worth it.

      Campus Life

Campus life is awesome, its a big or huge campus I should say. One can never get bored roaming around the campus. There is a lot of greenery all over the campus. The hostel buildings are beautifully designed and built. There are grounds for playing cricket football hockey, indoor stadiums for badminton or indoor games, lawns for tennis, music room for music enthusiasts, dance rooms for dancers , there are 3-4 gyms both A/C and non A/C.... The academic buildings are a major attraction !

      Others

I would like to add that, if you did not get an NIT and if you have sufficient money then VIT vellore is really a good choice, ya but this college will want you to loosen your pockets but you can still be safe if you wish!

      College Infrastructure

Yeah our college almost have the all the facilities required for the laboratory and the infrastructure is very good , there no drawback in providing the equipment in laboratory. Academics

I am studying electronics and communication engineering because the courses they offer for this department are quite interesting to me.The faculty here are almost with high qualifications and teaching is good. The curriculum is updated every year according to the changes in the society.

      Placements

The quality of placements is good because they do their best to get students placed .like around 80 percent of students get placed every year .Upto now I think the highest salary package is around 40 lakhs per annum. The placement process quite tuff there are several steps to go and there is cutoff for the cgpa .

      Academics

All the professors are PhD holders. They were helping students in there projects. Offering a new course engineering clinics is very useful for the students. They were providing internships for the students from the second year itself, etc.

      Placements

Placements were good in the past few years. Average salary is around 5 lakhs per annum. About 150 companies are coming to campus every year. Around 85% are being placed. Minimum package is around 1 lakh and maximum package is around 48 lakhs.

      Value for Money

      Academics

Im studying M.tech integrated software engineering in vellore from 2017 , ill be graduated in 2022, about my branch its very easy to get in using our 11 and 12 scores only considers MPC marks as an aggregate. Its pretty much equals to CSE , and i can say its more beneficial than that as there is more subjects in this as compared to cse alone and yes, our curriculum changes every year based on the new inventory trends and which trains to make us job ready.

      Placements

placements are pretty good in our college as our college is the leading private university in whole country and also vit is awarded as university of excellence recently. So many reputed companies visit our college for placements and it is open for every student ,no restrictions in terms of branch mostly. But, i cant say the percentage and salary package and all. But i can say if you are talent worthy no hr wants to reject you irrespective of branch and cgpa. Its the talent that they see in you.

      Value for Money

This course which im studying right now , costs around 1lakh per year as im first category student . 1.5 lakh for second category, and 2 lakh for third category. This is only for tuition fee and depending upon the hostel type, the hostel fee may vary accordingly. Yes, my every penny i spent here is worthy that im gaining more knowledge than my money ever can give.

      Campus Life

My life is fully busy that i cant even sit in my room for long, as im involved in many clubs snd ngo's.and i train daily in the gym . If i felt low i go to swimming. And more than that every college can have as like i have good friends to share my happiness and sadness. Thats all i can say that i have good campus life.

      Others

As the college is recently awarded as the college of excellence award . So you can understand no award is unnecessarily given without any achievements. So i can say that my college is the best to shapeout your careers.Thank you for reading i think it will help you alot.

      Academics

As i was enrolled in electrical Department, so i can share all the details about the Electrical department. It has got all the updated machine in the Labs which is very useful other than your theory part. Coming to the teaching part, it is same like any other College. Just going through the Powerpoint slides and all.

      Placements

Apart from your core offers (Dream or Super Dream), Service Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, recruits huge no. of Students, somewhere around 2500-3000. If you can get CSE and you have 9 cgpa or above then chances of getting placed in MNC's becomes very high.

      Value for Money

See, it has got various Fee Structure. If you can get CSE through round 1 or group 1 then your fees will be around 2.4L to 3 per Year. For your Information, there are 4 groups in which fees are divided and these groups are based upon your Entrance rank. College has proper infrastructure and security. All kinds of facilities are provided. Buildings are clean and are renovated time to time. Food served in mess is hygienic and worth the amount you paid for mess.

      Academics

I’m studying Information Technology. Quality of teaching here is good. Curriculum is updated and inclues all recent developments. Guest lectures are held and at times online lectures and courses are offered for better understanding. Research work in encouraged.

      Placements

100% placement in VIT. Most of the company that visits VIT are categorised into regular, dream and super dream. In 2019, highest package was around 42lpa and a large number of companies visited that offered 10-12lpa.

      Value for Money

Course cost vary according to which category you are in. It ranges from 2lacs to 5lacs per year for different students.

VIT a place to learn, chance to grow

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is well-maintained here. You will find a clean, peaceful huge library with every book you need, well equipped labs, hostels are pretty good too, they are cleaned regularly. You have the option of 2,3,4,6 bedded rooms with ac or no ac. You can choose a mess with vegetarian, non -vegetarian or there is special which is the same as the other two but with extra juices and salads and sweets. You also have gyms, courts for basketball, badminton, tennis etc. And pools are also there

      Academics

The curriculum is fine. The teachers are quite knowledgeable, patient and will help you a lot. But, again it is how you choose to use the availability of good teachers. You have to attend 75% of the classes. The system is credit-based, marking is relative, and the timetable is felxible. So you get to choose your subjects and teachers. The placements are really good here. Though, software-based visit a lot. Curriculum gets updated and changed based on the needs of world.

      Placements

The college has 100% placement record and is true to the word. The companies are divided into super-dream, dream and regular based on package offered. There is core and software as well. Core is when the company concerns the branch you studied.

      Value for Money

The course cost depends on the category you get in through which is based on VITEEE. If you are a category 1,2 student it will cost 1.2-2 lakhs. Category 3 costs 3 lakhs. Category 4,5 will cost you 3.5 and 4.9 lakhs respectively as of now. If you think the degree you earn here is going to add value to your life, fine. I think it costs around 5-6 lakhs even in local colleges. The above mentioned is only academic fee. The mess and room will cost you around 80k-1.5 lakh depending on what you choose

      Campus Life

College campus is beautiful with trees everywhere. Though, it is getting a little crowded these days. The academic blocks are quite distant from each other and it involves a lot of walking to go from one class to another especially if you are a guy because men's hostel is on the other side of the railway tracks and the academic blocks on the other side. The location is quite safe. If you are a girl you have to be inside by 7 and 9 of you are a guy. The rules about it are quite strict.
