I think you might be getting negative reviews of Vellore institute of technology, AP in context to its placements and still growing infrastructure. The institution was established in 2017 and it's first batch passed out this year only with placement records around 80 per cent for the core branches. See it is nothing when compared to the Vellore/Chennai campus but is expected to grow exponentially in the upcoming years. I don't think you will face any problems regarding opportunities and placements but yes the average packages would not be that high. I will suggest you to change it only when you get a seat in higher tier 1 or 2 colleges.

As per the guidelines of the college, you can not go outside for first three months but later you can.

It is quite subjective question and my opinion will not matter if it not matches with your interest. CSE and ME are entirely different with CSE comprises scientific and engineering aspects of computing and designing automated machine systems and intelligent bots while in mechanical engineering will teach you to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. Now if doesn't matters and college is the only aspect you should go with Vit, AP considering both are not the main campus of their respective franchises. Vellore institute of technology has a higher ranking, better faculties and reputation in the educational world. At first congratulations on your new journey at Vellore Institute of technology. As per the guidelines of institution no changes will be done in the allocated course, campus or category and requests for such would not be entertained.

However you have an option to switch your program in mid session migration window if you do well in your academics.

Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh is good for B.ech Integrated course. In 2020, it has good positions. In 2020, over 70% of our college's students were placed. The largest wage package available was 30 LPA, while the lowest package available was 3.2 LPA. 6 LPA was the average compensation package offered.

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:

• Infrastructure
• Curriculum
• Faculties
• Placement

Now if you consider all this parameters then I would recommend that the most efficient prioritization is-

• VIT AP
• SRM AP
• KLU GUNTUR

SRM AP and KLU Guntur are quite similar standards so you can choose among this two according to your willingness.

VIT have a very well organized curriculum such that the curriculum provides adequate skills to work in industry as well as to pursue academia. Also the faculties are very well experienced and are active in research. VIT offers a very good rate of placement about 91%. Thus if you want  admission in CSE among this two then I would say its better to go for VIT AP. VIT AP have very good infrastructure which is really  good fact for science students.

CSE Data Analytics is one of the trending courses at present. Vellore Institute of Technology in Amaravathi, Andhra Pradhesh was started in 2017. The first batch of the college was passed out this year only.

VIT Ap university is a privately owned UGC approved college with NAAC A grade. They offer Bachelors degree in computer science engineering as a four years long full time undergraduate degree course. The total fee for this course is approximately INR 7.83 lakhs. The highest salary package offered during campus recruitment was 40 LPA and the average package offered was 18 LPA. It is always good to have some prequite knowledge about the subject but not compulsory. He will be taught everything about programing and technical stuffs from the basics. Moreover the first semester is an extension of what he has learnt in senior secondary education. Computer languages such as python,c or Java is introduced subsequently one by one to avoid burden from the candidates.

You will need to pay an amount of rupees 5900 for the counseling procedure at Vellore institute of technology. As you know phase 5 of counseling is meant for the candidates having rank above 1lac in VITEEE, so there is a mere probability of you getting CSE or IT even in fifth category. But there is a descent chance of you getting Civil, Mechanical and other non core branches under category 4 or 5.
