Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hi aspirant,
From my personal experience and going along past trends I don't think it is possible for you to get any seat at VIT Andhra Pradesh with the mentioned rank under category 1. Though the campus is new, many students have to turn their directions towards new campus due to tough competition and high cutoffs in Vellore/Chennai campus. Moreover the choice to go with lower fee categories attracts a handsome number of students here. Well you can get few of the seats in category 2 for less demanded courses. You can get the detailed cutoff information for the same at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/viteee-cutoff/amp
Hope it helps!!
Hello dear aspirant
Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on successful completion of your VITEEE exam. Even though AP and Bhopal campuses are newly established, their faculty, infrastructure is definitely on-par with Vellore campus. They follow One Entry and One Exit where students enter the university through VITEEE Examination and leave the university with a centralised placement system. When it comes to placement opportunities, all the four campuses have equal weightage.
VIT AP and VIT Bhopal also offer many specialisations in CSE branch such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security and Digital forensics, Gaming Technology, Health Informatics, Networking and Security, Data Analytics, Robotics, Business Systems. These courses are future ready and have high placement opportunities. You can opt for the one you like from these specialisations.
Hope I've cleared all your doubts!!
All the best for your future career

Based on previous year's cut-offs it can be said that chances are less to get B.Tech Computer Science Engineering Core branch or Specializations in Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh in Category 1 or 2. You can try for Category 3, 4 and 5 but you need to pay additional fees along with regular Tution Fees every year, if you get seat in other categories expect Category 1. Fo r admission into B. Tech Computer Science Engineering branch in Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh you must atleast get Rank below 18000 based on previous year's cut-offs for category 1. For other categories the Rank may vary. But cut-offs varies from year to year. Also cut-offs varies from category to category and campus to campus.
