Academy of Business Administration, Balasore has a placement cell that manages the placement activities of the institute. ABA Balasore Placement cell assists students with placements in national as well as international organisations operations in IT, finance, marketing, human resource and operation sectors. The ABA Balasore placement cell acts as a link between students and employers by conducting an on-campus placement drive programme. 

The Academy of Business Administration, Balasore organises industry visits, seminars, workshops, student-industry interface, development and training programmes for students. The ABA Balasore placements provide an Industry-institute interface programme to provide practical exposure to students. The ABA Balasore students also get the opportunity to use Career Lab, Aptitude Lab, English Lab and Online Assessment Lab for their skill development and skill assessment.
