Baba Banda Bahadur College of Nursing, Faridkot Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Having a separate hostel for girls adjacent to the College/ within the college premises and round-the-clock security abide by the rules and regulations of the hostel. The hostel is supervised by experienced wardens. Spacious & well-furnished rooms with attached bathrooms and toilets, a study table and chairs, and a cot and a cupboard. Well-maintained hygienic Kitchen facilities, medical checkups, and a telephone are additional facilities for our students.

It is compulsory for students residing in the hostel to eat in the Mess. Payment for food is to be made in advance every month in the accounts department. Mess charges are liable to change within one month.

This Institution has facilities for indoor and outdoor games. A spacious playground exists on the College campus. The college organizes annual sports and also organizes competitions with outside teams. We are in the process of making a full-fledged department for games and sports.

The hostel provides health care for the students. During the training period, the student will get routine health care, but they have to pay for any specialized and long-term treatments. If trainees fall ill, are admitted, or are not counted towards the minimum attendance required.

Transport facilities are available from all areas of Faridkot. The college has a well-established transport system with its own fleet of buses to transport students and staff to various places like the Clinical, Community fields, other organizations, etc. Safety precautions are taken to the highest alert.

Nursing students are provided with the facilities in all the Laboratories. All Laboratories are having advanced equipment to train the students appropriately. Fundamental of Nursing Laboratory have a sufficient number of Dummies and Dolls for demonstrating various kinds of procedures. OBG, Child Health Nursing, and Preclinical laboratory facility are also available.

The college has an extensive library with a comprehensive collection of literature in all subjects. Around 3963 books, various National and International Journals, and Magazines are available. Besides the vast resources, digital networking, such as HELINET, also provides students with access to e-books, journals & periodicals. The college fulfills the requirements of the Indian Nursing Council.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
