Birsa Munda Government Medical College, Shahdol is one of the government medical institutes situated in Madhya Pradesh, India. It allows students to take admission into its MBBS program through a pattern of a competitive process. As it is a government medical college, it strictly follows the centralized admission process established by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the education of medicine in India.

Document Verification: The candidate has to report for verification of documents as announced by the respective state counselling authority.

Seat Allotment: Await the results for the seat allotment. In the event of allocation of a seat in Birsa Munda Government Medical College, the process continues.
Reporting to College: In case of qualifying, the candidate must appear personally at the college for verification of documents and confirmation of admission. Pay fees and meet other college formalities.
Medical Examination: Complete the medical examination as required by the college for fitness towards MBBS program.
Degree-wise Admission Process
MBBS: This is a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program offered by the college with a permitted intake capacity of 100 candidates. The admission into this course is purely through the merit in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). The admission methodology and eligibility for this medical course shall be in accordance with those prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Candidates will need to qualify at the 10+2 exams held, wherein Physics, Biology, and Chemistry are compulsory subjects. They are in addition expected to fulfill some specified minimum aggregate scores as indicated by the NMC in these subjects.
