Hey Suraj,

BJ Medical College, Pune is one of Maharashtra’s better medical colleges. While the competition to get in there is quite tough, I would advice you to study hard with determination and dedication and you will surely be able to secure a seat there irrespective of the cutoff marks.

As you belong to OBC category it is possible for you to grab a seat in this college. Last year the cut-off range was between 500 to 600 marks.

So you will get a seat in BJ college, hope this helps.

Good luck!

Hi Student

I am giving you the last year cut off of the colleges you have mentioned above under your category.

  • GMC, Mumbai - 544
  • BJMC, Pune - 592
  • Aurangabad - 530

As you know by now that the cut off will increase this year because cut off changes every year and is dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates apearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.

The minimum qualifying score for NEET UG 2019 is as follows:-

Unreserved category -134

Hi

As per your query I would like to tell you that in Maharashtra government seats are divided into 70% regional quota and 30% state quota according to which last year least marks to secure a seat in Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, and College of Nursing, Pune was  592 marks under 70% regional quota and 553 marks under 30% state quota which means you have fair chances of getting a seat in Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, and College of Nursing, Pune under 30% state quota, talking of which remember that cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category

College Infrastructure

The college has decent buildings and labs for BPMT students. Classrooms come with projectors and AC in some. The library is big with lots of books on paramedical topics. Being attached to Sassoon Hospital helps with practical work. Hostels are okay but old, canteen food is average. Sports ground is there but not top-notch. Overall, it's functional for learning but could use some updates.

It's a good college
