KIT Admission Process

Kangeyam Institute of Technology (KITECH), Tirupur, provides admission to a wide range of engineering courses in various specialisations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. KITECH admissions to these courses are merit-based or based on the performance of students in their qualifying examinations.

For B.E./B.Tech, KITECH admissions are carried out based on the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions), which is a Tamil Nadu state-level counselling process, whereas for PG programmes at Kangeyam Institute of Technology, such as MBA and M.E./M.Tech, KITECH admissions will be based on the score of the TANCET entrance exam.

KITECH Registration Process 2026

  • Before initiating the KITECH admission procedure, candidates must ensure that they meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the respective courses.

  • Students who are eligible must register for TNEA for UG courses and TANCET exam for PG courses. 

  • Once they qualify the examination, students have to go through the counselling procedure for BEC Tirupur admission.

KITECH admissions are offered to  B.E./B.Tech courses in various specialisations in Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, AI & DS. BEC Tirupur B.E./B.Tech admissions are merit-based. However, the students are required to appear for TNEA counselling. The duration of B.E./B.Tech programmes are 4 years of 8 semesters.

KITECH Admission Procedure 2026 for B.E./B.Tech 

  • Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria, which is a minimum of 45% in their 10+2 examination in physics, chemistry and mathematics.

  • For B.E./B.Tech courses, students have to appear for TNEA counselling (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions).

  • After the seat allocations, students have to submit their documents like 10+2 marksheets, identification proof, etc.

KITECH Admission 2026 for M.E./M.Tech Courses

BEC Tirupur provides M.E./M.Tech in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Construction Engineering & Management. The duration of M.E./M.Tech is 2 years, which has 4 semesters in it. To get BEC Tirupur admission for M.E./M.Tech programmes, students must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree and have to appear for TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) or GATE entrance examination.

KITECH Admission Procedure 2026 for M.E./M.Tech 

  • Candidates must hold a B.E./Btech degree in the relevant discipline.

  • Candidates have to appear for the TANCET examination conducted by Anna University.

  • Students have to register for the PG counselling process

  • Submit the required documents that are prescribed in the counselling process.

  • Pay the required fees. BEC Tirupur fees can be paid online or offline at the college admission office.

BEC Tirupur admission is also offered to a business administration course, that is, MBA, with a duration of 2 years.
