Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by AICTE and offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.
70 % convener quota & 30% management quota.
80% seats are filled through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
15% seats are filled under NRI quota and 5% national integration quota. NRI seats are filled based on a minimum of 60% marks attained in intermediate examination or based on EAMCET rank of the candidate. National Integration quota seats are based AIEE rank / 60% marks in qualifying examination.
Criteria for Admission;
As per government of Andhra Pradesh norms, decided by government year to year. The government of Andhra Pradesh fixes the minimum cut off marks depending upon a number of candidates qualified. For 2006-2007 academic year minimum cut off percentage is 30% in EAMCET.
A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.
