Hello student,

You have scored a very good marks in neet. Christian medical college has many reservations. As 89 seats are reserved for Christian candidates and 4-5 seats are reserved for the Hindu candidates and 20 seats for the students whose parents work there. Rest is reserved for NRI students. So if you are a non Christian candidate then it might be difficult to avail a seat in CMC.

Hope this helps.

Hello Anmol, as I except that you know the criteria of 50 percentile in neet ug 2020 to get MBBS/bds seat in cmc Vellore. I hope u r from Christian religion because it always gives preference to Christian religion. Now as you told about marks to get admission in cmc Vellore minimum marks expected is between 352 to 468 i.e 40 percent. Hoping for your good future. Thank u for joining us

Hello aspirant!!

It is not necessary for you to register your name in the government of tamilndau. You need to get your residential proof and apply for neet. Since you are from other states you may not apply for counseling for the medical college through the government of tamilnadu. You may join into the college  through theanagement seats by securing an eligibility score in neet. If you score a good neet score, you can also opt for all india quota.

All the best!!!

Stay safe..

CMC Vellore has 100 seat intake. 74 seats are filled by Sponsored children of associated churches and 10 seats are filled by the wards of the staff of CMC. 1 seat is sponsored by the Central Government of India and the remaining 15 seats are filled by Open Merit. 3 seats out of these are filled with SC/ST Category students. All these seats are filled on the basis of NEET score on the basis of merit cum preference and there is no spot admission procedure with CMC Vellore. And all the seats are filled through State NEET Counselling of Tamilnadu. Based on previous years' trends, you will need 550 and above for a seat in this College. Now cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/. Hi,

The last year NEET cut-off score for Christian Medical College, Ludhiana was 577. The cut-off mark varies for every year since it depends on the number of candidates appearing and difficulty level of exam etc. Hence getting more than 600 will be a safe score to seek admission in this college.

Good luck!

Dear Aspirant,

The first part of the admission process is your NEETPG score and subsequent to that is filling your online admission and the details are in their bulletin: https://admissions.cmcvellore.ac.in/process.aspx

CMC as a complex admission system that allows Christian Minority Students/Students of Doctors working there/Minority Groups/MBBS students from CMC/General Merit. Hence to state a cut off rank may look ambiguous.  We suggest you apply online if you have a fairly decent percentile in NEET UG. A guide line we can state is for AIIMS a rank below 2200 is a must to be considered and CMC is another top ranked Medical College.

Good Luck

CMC Vellore releases its online application form for MBBS. Interested Candidates should fill up the form. This year, the application has been released and the registration process has been closed. Ideally CMC Vellore has 74 seats allotted for Children of members of the Associated Churches. For being allotted under this Category, you have to reach out to your Church Pastor who will look into the process of nominating you for CMC Vellore. Admissions are conducted on the basis of NEET score as per the merit and preference. You should score atleast 575 and above for a seat in CMC Vellore.

We remember that you are from West Bengal from your previous questions. CMC Vellore is a  Private Medical College and so all the 100 seats are filled through Tamilnadu State Counselling. 74 seats are filled by sponsored children of Associated churches. 10 seats are filled by the children of wards of employees of CMC. 1 seat is sponsored by the Government of India. The rest 15 seats are filled through Open Merit. 3 out of these seats are filled by SC/ST. So if you belong to West Bengal, then it is difficult to study in CMC. But for someone who has the domicile of Tamilnadu, atleast 650 and above is an ideal score.

CMC Vellore has 100 seat intake and 74 seats are filled by the Sponsored children of Associated churches of the Church. 10 seats are filled by the children of wards of employees of CMC. 1 seat is filled by the Government of India. The rest 15 seats are filled through Open Merit. 3 seats are filled by SC/ST. Now the rest 12 seats are filled through Open Merit on the basis of NEET score. CMC Vellore is a Private Medical College which doesn't participate in All India Counselling. All the seats are filled through State Counselling. And so if you belong to West Bengal, a seat here might not be possible because CMC does not have any Management Quota. But just to answer your question, the fees is approximately 30,000Rs per month.

Kamal, CMC Vellore closed the registrations for NEET MBBS applications in April and CMC hasn't extended the date. So unfortunately, you cannot register no w, if you haven't registered earlier. Having said that many Candidates weren't able to register for CMC due to the lockdown being in place and so we can only hope that CMC opens its registration process. So please watch out for any official information on its official website.
