Hello Aspirant!

Christian Medical College, Vellore has 16 seats for General Medicine (MD) course. So, there is clearly a tough competition.

In 2018 admission list, the lowest marks obtained in NEET by a MD candidate was 453.

So, you can simply have some idea about the probability of getting a seat in CMC, Vellore by a candidate holding 19000 rank i.e. there are very low or negligible chances.

If an aspirant belonging to General category secures around 550+ marks in NEET 2020, then he/she will most probably get a seat in MD.

To get more information about previous year admission lists (with marks obtained in NEET) for various PG courses of CMC Vellore, you can visit:

Hope this answer helps you.

Hello,

Cutoff for college wise is not available. colleges consider upto 60k rank for admission so there is high chance for you. keep looking for other colleges too where you have surity that you will get an admission. Rank cutoff will be released prior to counselling so wait until that time.

for previous year cutoff AIQ, please visit the link below:-

Hope it helps!

You will not need the Christian Minority certificate while filling the CMC Vellore application form. Once the results have been declared and the merit list has been released, should your name appear in the short list and you are called in for counselling, you will have to carry your Minority certificate along with you for document verification.

Hi Mansi

In neet 2018 , 555 marks for required for general category for getting a seat in Govt. Vellore Medical College, Vellore under Tamil Nadu state quota

But cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

So , you should try to get at least around 580 to 600 marks to be on the safer side in your neet 2020 examination

For detailed information go through our page for which link is provided

Good for your neet exam

Thankyou

To apply for CMC Vellore you have to fill an application form through online mode in which stream you want  to enroll. The OBC and general category is only for the purpose you have scored in your previous examination or higher secondary and rest . After filling the form you have to submit your documents on the site of the college as required. After that you have to prepare for the entrance exam.

Hello

Seats are alloted in medical colleges under two quota :-

  • 15% All india quota
  • 85% state quota

Now to be eligible for 85 % state quota , one needs to be the domicile of that state while for 15% All india quota , all students are eligible.

So, yes you are eligible for taking admission in CMC , vellore for your mbbs but now , since you are domicile of UP then you are eligible for only 15 % All india quota for taking admission in CMC , vellore, so you need to score more as cut off marks under 15% All india quota is comparatively higher.

thank you
