Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

The allotment shall be based on the merit obtained by the students after considering both the entrance rank and two marks. For admission to NRI seats, the student has to contact the principal/college office directly with NRI details and other relevant documents for initial registration and subsequent interview. The admission shall also be based on the merit of the student.

College Infrastructure

As a student of college of engineering Aranmula, I had supportive teachers and good friends. However, the campus was small, with limited library books and lab facilities for learning and research too.
