College Infrastructure- is great  with all the necessary facilities. Hostels are good  with WiFi and are well maintained. Living spaces are clear and the food provided is hygienic with good taste .

Academics -  The curriculum is updated and according to the market demand. Overall it's decent.the quality of academics  is world class. lecturers are very amazing. Teachers are very helpful related to studies  .

Facilities- Canteen , Food Court, Convenience Store, Medical Facilities, Wi-Fi Campus, Open Auditorium, Multi-Purpose Hall, Meditation room.

Sports - Basketball Court, Swimming Pool, Cricket ground, Football ground, Lawn-tennis court, Volleyball court, Badminton etc.

Placements- Every year companies come to the campus for placements. The Institute has 100% placements record every year.

They have labs facilities also .

So overall life was great I GOA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT.

Hey Mona, unfortunately the achievers round deadline was 6th December 2021, hence the application for that is closed. You can still apply to the other normal rounds according to the entrance test you've taken. The deadlines are as follows:

1. CAT 2021 Applicants: 20th December 2021
2. XAT/CMAT Applicants: Last Date 10th January 2022
3. Final Closing: 17th January 2022

Hey Ruchika, you should apply to GIM as early as possible. The early application deadline has already passed on 6th December 2021. But no need to worry, the application process is still open. The deadlines are as follows:

As per the official website according to placements The Goa Institute of Management has achieved 100% of placements for its PGDM programs. The placements cell facilitate the entire recruitment process in placements season, which is starts in  second week of the December every year.

The highest package offered by the company is 25 lacks per year and average CTC provided by the company is 11.72 lacks per year and lowest package offered by the company is 11.4 lacks per year.

Goa Institute of Management placements process:

1. Pre placements talks

In this the top companies are come to the institute and explain the details of job description and career growth, they are interacting with the students and arranging the video conferences for selection process.

You should definitely go for it!  90 percentile is the cut off for general pgdm. 85 plus is the cut off for bfs (since it is a new course) and HR programme. For engineers they will get a call if their percentile is within these respective brackets. But for conversion they should showcase a really good interview and extempore performance.  For non engineers a decent performance in the interview should make the conversion, provided they have good acads or tradable workex.

Yes, PGDM courses are equivalent to MBA. The only difference between these is that mba exams are conducted by affiliated University and PGDM Istitutions are authorized by AICTE to conduct the exams.

In simple words, MBA is like an older version for masters in Management and PGDM is the latest version. It would be better to go for PGDM as it not only sounds better but also is much more industry relevant and practical for jobs.
