Good luck

Hello Aspirant,

GIM accepts only XAT, CMAT and CAT scores, cutoff for GIM in last year was 81 percentile while CAT and CMAT it is 87 and 97 simultaneously. It is considered a College for pursuing PGDM as it comes in top 50 college.

So, I wish you a good luck to you for the college.

I hope the above information is beneficial for you.

With your XAT percentile you may not get a call from Great Lakes Chennai and GIM Goa but you'll definitely get a call from Prin LN Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research Mumbai and Bangalore. All three are good colleges. Welingkar Mumbai requires a minimum of 80 percentile whereas for the other two colleges you'll have to have 90 percentile.

Apart from these you can check out the following colleges also.
  • XIME Bangalore
  • BIMTECH Noida
  • IFIM Business School Bangalore
  • NDIM New Delhi
  • Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies
These are also decent colleges and offer good placements with an average compensation package of 5-6 lakhs

Good Luck

Hello! Hope you are doing well! Both the colleges are good! The colleges has Good placements and infrastructure! But Siib is comparatively better than Gim as Gim has an disadvantage for the location as well the ROI is not so good of Gim! SIB has good specialised Program!

All the best!

GIM goa would be a better than SIBM Bangalore. Both are equally good as far as marketing program is concerned but if you're considering any other program like Human Resource then GIM would be a better option. In fact GIM is one of the top 50 B schools in India. They have a pretty good alumni base and great reputation among corporates. Considering ROI also GIM would be your best option.

Good Luck

Hello Puneet,

Goa Institute of Management is one of the best autonomous B Schools in goa as well as in the country. In order to get admission into the college the candidates are supposed to appear for XAT, CMAT, CAT etc and are given admission based on same.

It offers PGDM course in various streams like healthcare, Big data analytics, management etc.

The CMAT exam will be conducted on 28th January, 2020 and the result of same is expected to be out on 7th February, 2020. Based on previous years result, the Cutoff for CMAT 2020 is expected to  be around 90-97 %.

I hope it helps and all the best.

Thank you

Shanu, you may have decent chances at the following Institutions:

Lal Bahadur Shasthri Institute of Management, Delhi: 92 percentile

Xavier Institute: 91 percentile

Loyala Institute of Business Management: 90 percentile

IMT, Ghaziabad: 90 percentile

BIT, Mesra: 90 percentile

Goa Institute of Management: 90 percentile

GIM usually considers students having more than 70 percentile so you can definitely expect a call. But it is only during the final selection process that they consider the diversity for admissions. They don't have different cutoffs. Just give your 100 percent and you can easily get through.

Good Luck

You have good chances in all the colleges you have mentioned. They require a minimum percentile of 85 in CAT. Apart from that you can check out these colleges
  • FORE School of Management Delhi
  • Great Lakes Chennai
  • BIM Trichy
  • Nirma University
  • GIM Goa
  • IMT Ghaziabad
  • IMI Delhi and others.

College Infrastructure

Goa Institute of Management (GIM) boasts world-class infrastructure that fosters an ideal environment for academic excellence, innovation, and holistic development. Nestled in the scenic hills of Sanquelim, the campus spans 50 acres of lush greenery, providing a tranquil and inspiring setting for learning.

So the college is good but value of money is not there

College Infrastructure

AC is not there in college. The college has very bad paint, it should be replainted again. Students required ramp as in where wheelchair can be used for there convenience. Less food and basic needs on campus

Great college.

College Infrastructure

The campus is huge. The required facilities are available on campus - though anything you don't find on campus is readily available in the village nearby. The classrooms are great and the library is well stocked. The living spaces are well maintained and the food is good as well.
