Hello Sameer,
Hope you are doing great.
Goa Institute of Management Studies cutoff for PGDM programmes through GMAT is above or near to 600 as observed and analyzed from previous year cutoff.
The GMAT score weightage for final selection is 40% and academic and work profile of 25%, so the composite shortlisting is done on the basis of both GMAT cutoff , academic profile and work experiences.
Also, I'm sharing you a link where you can find more about GIMS and it's PGDM programmes.

HI...
Goa Institute of Management or more famously called as ‘GIM’/ ‘God’s own B-school’’ is a good choice- recently it came in top 20 emerging B-schools in India. The curriculum is a good mix of regular lectures, case studies, field trips, real-time assignment(for some subjects you work with professors acting as consultants for industry, government of Goa, etc), etc.
On fun-part, there are various clubs which you can join based on your interest and academic orientation (MECCA for Marketing, HRiday for HR and so on). In addition to this, the natural beauty of Goa in to be enjoyed with scenic background of the campus and some real good places around the campus to explore with your gang.
In terms of package, the average salary has been in terms of 8–9 lakhs pa and fees has been increased recently to 14+ but then there are several companies coming during placement paying you more than 15 LPA. Don’t forget the fact that batch size of GIM is 240 and not 120 or so as is normal in other B-schools(and hence low average salary in GIM). Also if you study good you are eligible to receive scholarship from the college.
Best luck
Hello Puneet,
Hope you are doing well.
Colleges like GIM, KJ Somaiya and Wellingkar Mumbai are very good for MBA/PGDM courses. With a good placement record and great infrastructure, they have been doing very well.
But, one must go for colleges of national importance like IIMs, XLRI, Symbiosis and IIFT after gaining a work experience of 3.5 years. With the work experience of 3.5 years, you have good chances of getting selected in these institutes. So, work little hard and try to make in these colleges.
All the best Puneet!
Thank-you
Hello,
Last year the CAT cutoff of GIM Goa was more than 85 percentile. The cutoff of GIM Goa aids in shortlisting candidates based on their scores. The Goa Institute of Management's cutoff percentile for 2020 session will be around 85 -95 percentile.

Yes, the health care management programme(HCM) is a good program for those who want to establish their career in health organizations in the side of management. The placement of HCM programme in GIM has good placements and the placements have been increasing year by year. Average salary for the batch 2016-18 was 10 Lakh per annum.
Also PDGM course is a better one when compared to HCM as it has better cirirculum and it has highest paid packages such as 22 Lakh per annum as an average.
So I suggest any one of these two courses at GIM would be good.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
Hi there,
CMAT cutoff for GIM was 90 percentile last year, which would have been in the range of 225 - 235 out of 400. This year its going to be increase as it changes for every year and it might be around 93 percentile foe SC students.
Hello there! Hope you are doing good.
I assume you are talking about Goa Institute of Management(GIM).
GIM does not accept NMAT score for MBA programme.
It accepts scores of CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT.
I’m sharing a link with you which consists of the percentile scores for the mentioned exams.

Dear Priyanka, you haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, an estimated cut off for each Category for each section is as follows:
QA DLR VARC Overall
General Category 70 70 70 80
OBC-NCL 65 65 65 75
SC 60 60 60 70
ST 50 50 50 50
PWD 50 50 50 50
As mentioned, this is just an estimated cut off. Please aim for atleast 5-10% more against your Category.
Goa Institute of Management (GIM) boasts world-class infrastructure that fosters an ideal environment for academic excellence, innovation, and holistic development. Nestled in the scenic hills of Sanquelim, the campus spans 50 acres of lush greenery, providing a tranquil and inspiring setting for learning.
AC is not there in college. The college has very bad paint, it should be replainted again. Students required ramp as in where wheelchair can be used for there convenience. Less food and basic needs on campus
The campus is huge. The required facilities are available on campus - though anything you don't find on campus is readily available in the village nearby. The classrooms are great and the library is well stocked. The living spaces are well maintained and the food is good as well.
