Government Cuddalore Medical College, Annamalainagar Admission Process

Rajah Muthiah Medical College offers MBBS, MD, MS and Diploma courses. The college is approved by the Medical Council of India. The admission to the courses is through NEET. The detailed admission process of these courses are given below:

The admission process for MBBS:

  • Medical aspirants have to appear for NEET UG Entrance Examination and obtain a valid score.

  • They have to apply for centralised counselling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

  • DGHS will do the counselling for 15% All India Quota seats based on NEET UG Score and list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in DGHS website.

  • For the state-level counselling, candidates need to register with the state counselling authority body as the 85% seats will be allotted by the state counselling body. 

  • Candidates need to select their preference while doing the choice feeling in the NEET UG counselling.

  • The counselling authorities will allot the seat on the basis of NEET score, preferences of colleges and courses and reservation criteria. 

  • Candidates who choose to accept the allotted college have to report to the institute for document verification and completion of other admission processes. 

The admission process for MD and MS:

  • Candidates have to appear for NEET PG Entrance Examination and obtain a valid score.

  • They have to apply for centralised counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

  • MCC will do the counselling for 50% All India Quota, Deemed/Central universities, ESIC and AFMS institutes based on NEET PG Score and list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in DGHS website.

  • For the state-level counselling, candidates need to register with the state counselling authority body as the 50 % seats will be allotted by the state counselling body. 

  • Candidates need to select their first preference in the NEET (PG) counselling.

  • The counselling authorities will allot the seat on the basis of NEET score, preferences of colleges and courses and the reservation criteria. 

  • Candidates who choose to accept the allotted college have to report to the institute for document verification and completion of other admission processes. 

The admission process for PG Diploma:

  • Eligible candidates have to submit the online application at the official website of the college.

  • Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the entrance examination.

  • Final admission will be based on the marks secured at the entrance examination and interview

The Rajah Muthiah Medical College (RMMC) was established in the year 1985, in the Annamalai University. It is a government college. It has been accredited by NAAC with grade'A'.

The total fees for the MBBS course is around Rs 30.49 Lakhs.

Annual Tution fees for the MBBS program is around Rs 5,54,370. Hostel and Mess charges are around Rs 84,000 annually.
