      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is outdated, functional but feels old in several departments. Maintenance and hostel conditions may not meet expectations, and some facilities require noticeable improvement. Tbh it's not great!

      Academics

Academics are rigorous due to the medical curriculum. Faculty knowledge is strong, though teaching methods can feel traditional and academically demanding for many students. You'll have to do self study and rely on tuitions if needed.

      Placements

Medical colleges do not follow traditional placement systems. Internship opportunities are available, but career growth depends mainly on NEET PG preparation and practical skills. So, if you do well there there's chance

      Value for Money

As a government medical college, fees are affordable compared to private institutions. Despite limitations in facilities, the degree still offers reasonable long-term value. So value factor is partly working

      Campus Life

Campus life is more academically focused than recreational. Student activities exist, but the overall environment can feel stressful because of workload and clinical responsibilities. No proper fest is conducted here!

      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is good , we have campus facilities like spacious lecture hall , well equipped labs with modern audio visual aids. We have laboratories for anatomy , physiology , biochemistry , microbiology , etc. We also a library with extensive collection of medical books , journals and e sources. And a hostel for boys and girls.

      Academics

The academics is outstanding and performance of the college is great . Academic's performance is going excellent as we have all the required facilities , skilled teachers and doctors and rather than memorizing things our college focus on providing practical knowledge which will make us great doctors.

      Placements

The quality of placement is outstanding as it a Government medical college and the college is one of the most reputed college amongst the medical communities. The name of the college is only enough for us to get placed at good hospitals.

Have a question related to Government Medical College, Akola ?

      Hello there,

It depends on the hostel itself. Some colleges have triple occupancy while some have double occupancy. And in almost every college, you will have to shift with another roommate into another room after completing your first year.
