      Government Medical College and Hospital, Jalgaon (GMCH Jalgaon) is an institution of various medical programmes in both an undergraduate and a postgraduate sort. Generally, the admission cycle for GMCH Jalgaon starts in the months of May through June every year, commencing in August through September. GMCH Jalgaon admission for several courses is through those national-level entrance examinations in which GMCH Jalgaon participates: NEET, a test for admission into undergraduate programmes, and NEET-PG for postgraduate programmes. Candidates entering the MBBS programme, the principal one in the undergraduate degree, according to the specifications set out, must qualify in NEET-UG to be allowed admitted by GMCH. 

      In the colleges, the entry process for MD and MS courses takes place on the basis of dealing the scores in the NEET-PG test.       • Pay the required application fee as prescribed by the counseling authority.
      • Participate in the counseling process on the basis of the NEET-UG rank.
      • If granted a seat, report to GMCH Jalgaon for document verification and admission formalities.

      About MD/MS programmes:

      • Qualify in NEET-PG.
      • Register for the state-level AIQ counseling process as applicable.
      • Fill-out the online application form for the desired MD/MS programme.
      • Upload the required documents such as MBBS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, and NEET-PG score card.
      • Pay the application fee specified by the counseling authority.
      • Participate in the counseling process on the basis of the NEET-PG rank.
      • If allotted a seat in the institute, report for the formalities of document verification and admission at GMCH Jalgaon.

      GMCH Jalgaon MBBS Admission Process

      The admission process for the MBBS programme at GMCH Jalgaon depends on the score achieved by the candidate in NEET-UG. 150 seats are available for this programme. As regards eligibility, candidates should have passed the 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects and should qualify in NEET-UG.

      GMCH Jalgaon MD/MS Programmes Admission Process

      GMCH Jalgaon offers the following postgraduate programmes in various disciplines of medicine. Admission to each MD and MS programme is through NEET-PG. The main programmes are reflected below:

      To be eligible for GMCH Jalgaon admission to any of these postgraduate courses, candidates must have completed an MBBS degree from a recognised university and qualified in the NEET-PG examination.

      GMCH Jalgaon Documents Required

      Generally, the required documents for admission are

      • NEET-UG/NEET-PG scorecard
      • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
      • MBBS degree certificate and mark sheets (for PG programmes)
      • Internship completion certificate (for PG programmes)
      • Valid ID proof
      • Domicile certificate (if applicable)- Caste certificate (if applicable)
      • Recent passport-size photographs.

      Academics

      The professors are really helpful they teach the subjects very well. They provide guidance on personal basis. Regular lectures are taken and portion is taught as per the latest curriculum. Practicals and dissections also take place on a very regular basis

      College Infra

      The college has all the necessary equipments and requirements in regards to a medical college. The classrooms have projectors speakers that professors use to teach. The mess and hostel facilities are good. Hygienic and healthy food is provided two times a day

      Campus Life

      Jalgaon is a good town to live in. The are many fun activities in the town where you can go with friends. There are many natural outdoor spots to go and relax your mind with friends. The teacher and support staff are very helpful

      Placements

      It is a government medical college so there isn't really a concept of placement. In MBBS we have a 4.5 year course and 1 year internship in government hospital which has a stipend paid for by the government

      Value For Money

      Considering it is a government college and the fees is very minimal compared to private colleges for mbbs it is definitely worth your money. The education is good and the tag of doing mbbs from government college is also there. The course is 1.6 lakh rupees per year for general category students

      Academics

      I am studying mbbs 4th year because I want to become a doctor. The curriculum is recently updated with more focus on clinical practice. The teaching is of good quality and enhances our knowledge. It benefits me.

      College Infra

      Infrastructure is currently in built but all the equipments are present. Classrooms and library is there with air conditioners and water supply. Wifi is available. Proper hygiene is maintained in classroom and hospital.

      Placements

      The number of placement has increased in our college. And there are seats for pg in medicine surgery and various non clinical department. The atmosphere is pleasant and learning experience is good. College is supportive
