Hi

You have tagged Govt. Medical College, Surat, so I am answering your question with respect to it only.

In NEET 2019 , to get a seat in Govt. Medical College, Surat for MBBS a general category student required 557 marks under Gujarat state quota

But cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

So , you should try to get at least around 580-600 marks to be on the safer side in your neet 2020 examination if you want to get into Govt. Medical College, Surat

Thankyou

Heena, we do not have 2019 data yet. Neverthless, in 2018, around 450 secured a seat in GMC, Surat under OBC Category. Now as mentioned, this is 2018 data. Now cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. In 2019, the general cut offs increased by 15 marks and then the individual cut offs increased by 60-70 marks. Considering all these factors, if you want to secure a seat in this College your target should be atleast 550. If you need any assistance during counselling, we have MBBS companion for you:
