Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering II Shift is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate seeking admission in Diploma in Engineering should have passed the 10th or High School Examination or it is equivalent to an approved Board.

LATERAL ENTRY- Direct admission to the second year of the course is also made from those who have passed the Higher Secondary Course (Academic and Vocational) ITI. Admission under this category is restricted to 10% of the regular intake of students. Here too, the admission is made on the basis of merit and the reservation policy of the State Govt.

Admission Details

Admission to the Polytechnic College for the three-year Full-Time Diploma course is done strictly on the basis of marks scored in the SSLC examination and as per the reservation policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu for OC, BC, MBC, SC & ST candidates. In addition, seats are reserved for the following categories of students.
