Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have passed Karnataka SSLC or any equivalent exam with a minimum of 35% of aggregate marks.

Lateral Entry:

Candidates who have passed S.S.L.C or Equivalent Examination by securing 35% marks in aggregate and should have passed JTS(3 years course)/ITI (2 years course)recognized by Govt of Karnataka are only eligible for seats reserved under the JTS/ITI quota. Admission will be considered only for the candidates coming under the JTS quota and ITI quota for Diploma First Semester courses.

Admission Details

The prescribed Application form along with the information Brochure will be available on the KEA & DTE websites www.dte.kar.nic.in & www.kea.kar.nic.in respectively. The filled application must be submitted for verification along with the required documents to the authorized Government Polytechnic.
